So my trio finished the WOW-PRO addon tourguide of Nagrand the other day, about level 68.75 and lo and behold the next guide in the list is for Northrend! (They removed the blades edge guide)

So off I go. First thing I notice is...holy load times on 3 clients! It took so long for all three clients to load that the zeppelin was almost going to leave Northrend again. I should seriously look into getting an SSD...

Next thing...for the first session only, my dps toon's client was running at "yellow" latency, meanwhile the tank and healer were green...so that messed up my combat quite a bit.

Next...why do so many freakin' Northrend mobs have a "Mortal Strike" like ability? Seriously messes with my method of pulling as many mobs as I can without leashing any of them...

Overall I'm pretty impressed with how my system handles it (other than load times). I get about 40fps in Howling Fjord, whereas in Nagrand I was getting about 70fps. So wow...did they ever bump up the graphics a ton in Northrend!

System specs for the curious:
* Intel Core2Duo e7400 2.8GHz dual-core
* nForce 6-series chipset m/b
* 4gb DDR2-800 OCZ dual-channel RAM (but running in single-channel b/c the mobo won't do dual)
* eVGA GeForce 260GTX 896MB superclocked vid card (recent acquisition...made a HUGE difference, running the main at 1920 resolution on my new monitor)
* 22" 1080p main LCD, running the tank at 1920x1080 resolution, all settings max except shadows at minimum
* 17" LCD running the two slaves kitty-corner to each other at 800x600 all settings minimum
