Same on garona starting to get to the point of not caring and just canceling. It's been like this for month's. I'm hoping they do whatever that fix is they were talking about on the Dallas center next (garona servers are in dallas).

Since I basically cannot enjoy the game, I made a video of some of my recent WoW exploits, enjoy!

They are in the process of fixing this. By doing nothing a ton of people will quit. Problem solved!

Yeah, it seems that the dallas data center is last in line for the fix. Maybe they are waiting for the new fiscal year to start before buying more hardware. Because I think the Dallas servers are so populated that moving the load around won't fix much.

Topping tonight's list of things over which to get your knickers in a twist, Blizzard announced its weekly scheduled Tuesday maintenance window (http://blue.mmo-champion.com/23/19595431989-realm-maintenance--9109.html) for US realms tonight. Some realms, under the cut, will have an extended maintenance period, ostensibly to complete the new server hardware additions that alleviate or resolve instance-launching errors. Good news for everyone -- even us, because maybe now we'll stop getting tips about it!
Maintenance will begin for most realms from Tuesday, September 1 at 3 AM PDT/6 AM EDT and conclude at 11 AM PDT/2 PM EDT.

And if today does not fix the problem.....

Cross-server 5-mans (http://www.wow.com/2009/08/22/blizzcon-2009-blizzard-announces-cross-server-instances/): This is coming in patch 3.3. You'll be able to use LFG across realms, which should eliminate those pesky "additional instances" errors (http://www.wow.com/2009/02/19/instance-throttling-explained/) and reduce the time everyone spends getting PuGs together.

Here it is 6PM Central time and Dallas is still down. I worked on my IsBoxer config for a few hours and cleaned out my unused addons and saved variables files this afternoon thinking I was losing playtime. Ney ney, Moosebreath! Oh well. I'll go over my macros a little more or defrag the raptors again.

If this fixes the instances I could handle it being down for 24 hours

It did NOT fix the server issue on Madoran.

I agree 100%

Vecter and I got into ZF our first try, but then after we reset, we had to portal hump for about 10 minutes. 10 minutes isn't bad considering it took 1 hour + last week, but still.... I guess they broke it so much yesterday they just undid everything just to get the servers back up, and finish this morning.

on the up side. taking my 71 hunter to AV and getting 5% of a level every win was pretty cool.

No problems getting into instances all afternoon and early evening yesterday. So far, so good. Now lets see how the weekend works out.

Garona seems fixed. I ran heroics Wed/Thurs during prime-time, which was a lost cause last week. Me likey.

And who are you on Garona?

<-- Most of Forseti Hel, Horde. ;)
