Have now cleared this with the following teams -
1. Paladin (tk), 4 Shammy (all dps/resto hybrid) - got woman second boss
2. Paladin (tk), 3 Shammy (dps/resto hybrid), 1 Priest (hl) - have done with both second boss's
3. Paladin (tk), Priest (hl), lock/mage/shammy (dps) - got woman again

Things that helped and i didnt realise immediatly - No doubt others have also spotted and posted on these however I cba to wade through 150 replies to the relevant thread, this may prove helpful to some.

Choosing the first 3 boss's
A. Going in with a toon and starting the event dosent get that toon locked. So go in with all 5 (not in a group) and simply keep whchever set of boss's u wish. As it happens i have 2, 5 man teams and going in with all 10 gives me a 92% chance of getting the group I prefer each and every day.

Joust - I do this using the "leave 4 toons at the wall on a shield breaker/melee/defence loop" from someone on these forums.
A. Switch mounts early - there are plenty around, no need to wait till ur toon is almost dead and I usually switch on about 30 to 40%
B. When pulling the sets of 3 low lvl mobs simply stay in melee range as u kite back (assuming u leave 4 toons at the wall) - this keeps 3 defence up and u can pull all mobs only having to change mounts once at the end (on final add).

Boss 2 - Bloke
Easy, just turn from radiance. Have even done this with Druid (tk), 3 Shammy (dps/healer hybrids) and lock (dps) which is not a team i have much confidence in as my shammy builds and binds are not that great.

Woman (boss 2) - I found this easier with a dedicated healer than 4 shammy's but still a long fight (compared to the bloke second boss)
A. keep the dps on the boss and add mana efficent (i.e. no chain LB) as mana can be a problem, once i swapped to my alternate single target dps rotation this fight got a lot easier.
B. Dps needs to be high on the woman at the end as she heals quite a bit (i.e. u may want to save heroism for this part even though its tempting to bust it in order to get the add down).
C. Its obvious but tremor totem is damm handy here.

Third boss - not easy in hc, i use a paladin tank which is good and bad.
A. Frost resistance is handy (shammy totem or pala aura)
B. Shadow resistance is handy (priest buff or pala aura)
C. Clensing totem is a must - tried with the pala clense but its too much like hardwork. With A, B and C in a 4 shammy/ 1 pala team phase 1 is damm easy, almsot dont have to heal.
D. Tank with the dps/healer against the wall - knockback is less of a problem
E. Plant the totems to one side of the group, they seem to be killed by the exploding adds in phase 2 or the aoe from the black knight (not sure which, dosent rly matter as u can simply plant them 10 yards away so they dont get hit by either).
F. Procing the fire elementals at the start of phase 2 can be a godsend - specialy if u time it right and the group up on the tank rather than on the dps, then chain heal and chain LB like a pro (or aoe if ur not palying a shammy army)
G. Save heroism for phase 3, heal a LOT, ppl die pretty fast. Have not tried grouping up on the tank - my healing is l33t anyway :p

Generaly the black knight himself seems easier to me with my priest healer doing dedicated healing - he can with renew/prayer of mending/spam CoH/holy nova do something like 5k hps to the entire group so phase 2 is no prob, just go nuts with aoe and heal through dmg. Phase 3 is only hard as mana might well be low on the priest, u cant maintain that level of healing output for long.

Hope this helps - innit!

Meeo gave me a nice tip for Phase 2 Black Knight that has let me 1-shot him every day since then:

Kill the adds.

I get a couple hits on the black knight to keep aggro, then just focus-fire down the adds one at a time. I'll taunt them off my team back to the center of the room, so if they do explode only my tank gets hit. I've also noticed if you drop your totems and move away from them, the pestilence gets cast on the totems pretty often so there's less team movement. I used to just try and burn the boss, but even though I could do it, it was a tough fight and I'd often lose a dps or two.
