19 Inch WideScreen [Archive]

Hey guys I am new to multi boxing and I am going out to buy another monitor tommorow. I am interested in a 19 inch Widescreen for my layout. My question to everyone out there is what do you use? There are so many different 19inches its hard to choose. Anyone send me a link with a model number or brand that they choose?

I've bought the regular and wide-screen versions of i-INC's 19" flat panels lately. Not only are they cheap (about $130-160 each) they're very bright and I haven't had any trouble with them yet.

19 in montior = 17 inch with "bigger" pixels.

Go with a 17" or a 20" for better picture quality.

Thanks I didn't know that. I was torn between the 17 and 19inch, if the 17 gives a better picture I will want to pick up one of those instead. What bout widescreen? My main right now is a widescreen and I wanted them to match. That sound right?

i would consider stepping up to 21 or higher. wide screens have a longer diagonal so most people tend to be decieved by the number.

unless desk space is a concern.

If you're never going to run anything higher than 1280x1024 or so, this is a moot point.
