Mixed Team Clearing Northrend Heroics

Did my wrath leveling with three accounts and just got 2 more accts and spread out my team. However, I didn't expect to do this so all my 80's are different classes. I run a Pally tank, s priest, lock, moonkin and resto shaman.

Just started doing Northrend heroics yesterday. A little rough to start but working better now with fewer deaths and faster clears. Have cleared h Nexus twice, uk and Drak'Tharon (cause it was daily).

My first post here. Hope you like. Will post more later on progress.

Tell us more. What's your setup ? Software or hardware ? How do you deal with spell rotations with 4 different casters ? etc ...

Pretty much using the Pally 9-6-9 rotation along with a ranged pull set as well. Trying to keep each of the casters to a set of three functions, opener, 9 sec and 6sec.

I put tank and moonkin on main machine (dell xps desktop), Healer to the right on dell wow laptop and the s priest and lock are on a new 64bit HP vista desktop. 30" display on main, laptop screen on healer and 24" screen for preist and lock. I don't use any screen splitting and only have three toons visible at once.

I use X-Keys to map assist focus macro's for each toon to CT Bar mod key bindings for each toon. Since I solo all the toons as well, I use the extra bars so I can bind assist macros to extra bars and straight spell rotations to standard interface bars.

Using Keyclone for key broadcasting to/from each machine/client.

Daily is Occulus today. Not sure if following is going to work while mounted on non-standard mounts.

One possible option to follow vehicles:
/focus <leadername>
/follow focus

And grats on your first heroic clears. It will get easier and faster with better gear. :)

Thanks for post. Tried focus follows too and those can't be followed errors still. Well, that just means it is a conquest badge grind day.

Sounds weird, am using this all the time without any problems. No matter if its Oculus or ToC, works like a charm. Maybe some addon of yours interfering?

My thought too. I just hit my master /focus + /follow key and it Just Works(tm). Nothing fancy, just a /focus [target=name, nodead] and /follow focus. I haven't found a vehicle yet that it failed on.

Thanks for pushing. Must be targetting/focusing something wrong. Will give it another go. ToC mounts sounds like faster way to get to a mounted test as opposed to trash clears to mounts in Occ.
