Ok the search function doesnt work to well here and most of the links in articles are sending me to the log in page after i am logged in.
here is my setup:

ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution LGA 1366
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) (x2)
Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W
CORSAIR CMPSU-1000HX 1000W
XFX GX260NADBF GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3
HITACHI 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
32" samsung lcd 3ms response time ( this might be my problem too big?)
Windows 7 x64

here is my problem:
im trying to run 5 man just starting out lvl 1
main screen is running 50fps (low detail with the macro)
i can only get 3 more accounts running 15fps (low detail with the macro)

i cant figure out how to set affinity in win7 so each acct runs on a separate core (this might help?)
they screen starts getting choppy and then one client usually crashes after a while not sure why this is.

any suggestions on how to improve the performance? should i keep all the windows except for the main minimized?

what solution are you using for keybroadcasting? If you're using keyclone, then it has a simple checkbox for core affinity (although I'm getting good performance by telling every instance of WoW to use all 4 cores on my Q6600).

You should easily be able to play up to 5 with those specs. I have my affinity set to all 4 cores for all instances. Make sure you set your fps limit as well. Both the fps limit and CPU affinity can be easily set with Keyclone.

If you have all the video set to low try changing the resolution and see how that does ya.

howdy cidd and welcome to the forums

did you set up keyclone commands? if so, did you use the wizard? it should have set your cpu affinity for you. if not, go to the command editor and for each command you can set the affinity by checking the boxes for each core you want to assign to that instance of wow.

if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note.

good luck and welcome to the addiction,

Rob (keyclone developer)

I ended up not needing to set affinity the i7 seems to handle the 5 accounts at once with not even breaking a sweat.
it ended up being a combo video settings not being set low by that macro and me not even bothering to check if it had worked properly.

so now im up and running and just hit lvl 18 man i should have been doing this for years.

thanks for the help guys
