Purge on round robin

Is it useful to have purge on roundrobin?
If i have 4 insta purges will these take away 8 buffs or will they just all remove the same two buffs ?

Edit: thx for answers, but im realy not thinking about pve at all. My question goes to the use in arena and bgs ;)

I'd like to figure a good way to work in purge myself. I find now it ends up being unused the majority of the time =( Really wonder if it would be worth sticking in my dps macro. Maybe use it once and thats it while tank is grabbing aggro. Bad thing about that is I really dont have to hold back on my pally at all. Soon as I pull I can usually go all out. Would the gain be worth the delay of dps.

I have two dps keys. One has purge in between four LBs such that all have it on RR in a castsequence. That way I can ensure 3 of them are still dpsing while one casts purge. Not the best solution, but it works wonders on bosses that use HoTs. =)

edit: I only hit this button when I want to purge(and there is something that can be purged) otherwise the shaman will all get stuck trying to purge nothing.

In my experience its best to RR purge, i found all 4 at once did infact all purge the same buff.

In PVP there is no benefit to staggering. My 4 shamans can purge an entire bar of buffs off a target np. In a perfect world, Yes - it will clear 8 buffs at once... not counting dispell resistance.

In that case ima check it out with all four insta cast and hoping it clears 8 buffs.

I've never tried to stagger them just use them all at once but I assumed that it purged 8 buffs....but I dunno.
