View Full Version : Trying KeyClone 24hr trial, Not sure whats wrong

Alright so I figured I would try this keyclone trial thing and see if I can get it working the way I want it to. Im not looking to box like 5 characters or anything, I basically just want a pocket healer w/ some added DPS for leveling faster. I chose a Rogue and Druid. Rogue will be the character I am playing, the druid will be the slave. All I am really wanting is to have the druid auto follow the rogue, throw some heals up on the rogue and some random moon fires at the rogues target. But I cant seem to get even the basic stuff to work correctly ...

Just for testing, I made the macro on the druid " /follow Rogue" and put it on #1 key. I start KeyClone, I start both WoW clients. I alt tab to the Rogue client, I hit #1 on there, and yah the druid runs to me on auto follow. But then as soon as I go to walk forward, the druid runs the other way. If I back up, the druid backs up, and vise versa. If I alt tab to the Druid account, then move around w/ W A S D, it makes the rogue move around with W A S D.

How do I get it to actually follow the Rogue and not run all over the place when I try to move with the rogue. Its gotta be something simple that I am just missing here, right?

This might not be correct but what will work is if you go into setttings, go to do-not-pass, on the bottom right make sure you have white list checked, then click in the box and add the space bar, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, f7, equals and minus. this is what ive done for my solo play with a healer following. works perfectly.

Have you added your movement keys to the "do-not-pass" list in setup?
Sounds like thats your problem. Keyclone is sending your movement keys to both clients since it hasn't been told not to.

Rofl... I knew it was something simple like that. Yah I added W A S D to the do not pass list, Ill mess with it now and see if I run into any other problems. Thanks guys

or you can just add that to the do not pass list. lol.....
