Does ferocious inspiration still stack?

Are there any other decent buff or abilities that work well with hunter groups?

Been gone for several months, obviously, anyhunter group discussion or advice is welcome.

No stacking WoWhead (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=34460#comments)

Yes, with it being raid wide this ability is going to have to follow the trend of other raid-wide buffs and not stack. Just imagine bringing 5 BM hunters for 15% extra raid damage, waaaaay too OP.

This is a good change in some ways for sure. This makes it less appealing to bring more than 1 BM hunter per raid and encourages raiding hunters to spec either survival or marks since both are also really great for raiding.
one other buff you want to provide is True Shot Aura, makes a huge difference, unless it is done by other buffs now.

- As far as I know, with the change of ferocious inspiration going raid wide, it doesn'T stack anymor.

As for Buffs/Debuffs a pure Hunter group could do, there are the following:

Hunter-Buffs:
10% more AP (Trueshot-Aura / MM-Hunter)
3 % more damage ( FI / BM-Hunter)
Replensihment ( Hunting Party / SV-Hunter)
(Huntersmark)
(-50% healing, Aimed Shot)

Hunter-Target-Debuffs:
-3% chance to Hit (Scorpid-Sting all Hunters)

Pet Buffs/Debuffs:
- 20% Armor (Acid-Spit / Worm (only BM-Hunter) (Tenacity-Pet) )
- 5% Armor (Sting / Wasp (Fero-Pet, all Hunters))
+ 25% more Bleed Damage (Stampete, Rhino (only BM-Hunter) (Tenacity-Pet))
- reduce target casting speed by 25% (Lava Breath, CoreHound (fero), BM only) or (serpent, cunning, all)
- up to -410 AP (Demoralizing Screech, Canarion Bird (fero) all)

are the Buffs/Debuffs I could think of.

So if you go with 3 Hunters and want to maximize buffs, I would do the following:

1. Spec one BM and use a worm as his Pet. This will provide your group, with +3% damage, a realy good Tanking Pet, and a massive reduction of the targets Armor, which all 3 Hunters and all 3 Pets will benefit from (also its a ranged pull attack).

2. Spec one MM and use a Wolf as his Pet. This will give you Aimed Shot, MM aura (10% more AP for all of you), if you want a improved Hunters Mark, and the Wolf provides more AP for himself and his Master (320 AP on 80) or choose a fero pet which provides a buff/debuff you want (like a canarion bird or wasp)

3. If you realy want replenishment for your group spec the third hunter SV (and you would also get nice tools like, Scatter Shot and Wyvern Sting) and for a Pet choose one you like as above.

When wotlk came out I started a shaman+4 hunter group, the windfury totem when wotlk came out also worked for ranged attack speed, that no longer works. But the agility/strength totem helps since everything in your group will benefit. Also the soullink like effect only works for pet and master now, you cannot have the pets round robin soak damage for a single tank pet.

I also believe that Heroism/Bloodlust effects were removed from pets, though this may have just been the elemental totems of the shaman.

I ran with all BM spec/aimed shot hunters with gorillas. The problem I saw is that ferocious inspiration was always up and the points seem needless in all the hunters to spec into.

I tried mixed pets, but the bonuses that the various pets gave didn't outweigh the simplicity of the gorrila (which would now be bear for that playstyle). Sure you can have a worm, but the mobs don't last that long for the decrease to matter.

I had a lot of problems with the pets dancing with the mobs with a friend's warpstalker, endlessly trying to turn around and the mob and the pets would basically waltz down a hallway aggroing extra pulls. It all seemed part of that walkstalker's teleport function. When we turned that off it didn't occur, though the waltz didn't occur on every pull either.

Thanks for the info guys. Hunters x 3 doesn't look very appealing anymore.

Is explosive shot still their best burst option? Is anyone running 3-5 explosive shot spec'ed hunters that would like to share their experiences?

I have a lot of experience with a solo hunter alt, but I've never boxed them before and I don't have access to test a hunter team so I apologize for the extensive questions.
