Display 17" WXGA+ (1440x900) UltraBright LOVE this screen.
Hard Drive 250GB 5400RPM 8MB Cache
^ And gaming from work on and Dual boxing with.

These are my two systems. I do not plan on changing anything on my laptop.
I have been amd since I started building in 2003. Now I am thinking I want to go quad core... Or memory.... or new video card.... Or I dont know.

I can 5 box on this machine just fine with around 23fps on the slaves. I just feel its a bit laggy at times. Not due to the latency. So with that being said I would like to keep 5 boxing on this machine. But what would be my biggest upgrade. I am not sure with the CPU and MOBO or if it would go to the Video card. Either way I am adding another 4gb of memory. Due to that is all this MOBO can handle.

With all of the knowledge with Multi boxing where should I head first?

Thanks for your input. Thanks.

These. All of them.

For a quad core, if you're willing to go Intel, the q9550 is a great starting point.

Don't go less than 8gb with your RAM

For a video card, nVidia's 275 is an inexpensive and nice option (as is ATIs 4850).

If your mobo can take it, some of the newer Phenom II x4's are nice too. For the same price as the 9550 you can find a comperable AMD. It may not be as good as the i7, but the top AMD's can often beat the 9550 or 9650 and cost a bit less.

If your mobo can handle it, the cheap option is a new quad core CPU (~$200) and 8GB of RAM (~$100). I'd start with those and then look a new video card after that - get something with at least 1GB of video memory. The 4850 or 4870 is a nice performace/price point right now.
