Hey, advanced multi boxers.
i'm new to multi boxing. Just read all the sticky's and got 2 accounts set up and ready to go, but i'm having difficulty as to what class combiation to use with a warrior.
A healer might be great so I can dish out max dps while being healed. But a double dps class like warrior/mage might also be viable because it kills faster, what are your foughts on this?
I would like to hear people talking from experience as to what class combination worked for you.

Shaman. You can DPS, heal, self rez, and rez your warrior.

Ret Paladin; plate + dps + healing = win.
(I've levelled a warrior with a mate who had a paladin.)
If your alt gets aggro, a clothie can go down pretty quick when "soloing" the group quests.
Shamans wouldn't be a bad choice either.

I may be just biased, but ever since I started playing a shammy I have a hard time trying to play my mage or warlock (when I'm soloing). I've never touched a pally past level 4, so I can't say much about them. I do know a ret pre-nerf could obliterate (and did a few times) my 4 shaman pretty fast.

I'd go resto shaman. Earth shield is win for boxing and you can still dps with that spec.

I just levelled a pair of warriors 60-70 and that was pretty good fun - used one arms and one prot so had to watch out for a lot of procs, more challenging that way.
They did get obliterated a couple of times but it wouldn't have been better if there'd been a healer. My biggest problem was poor gear at level 60 meaning it was hard to get through the early quests. As soon as they were geared for outlands they rocked.

there is a difference between leveling with a friend and doing it alone with 2 chars.
personally i woould say, warri + heal = win
depending on your playstyle ...
i would choose a pally if you want to do big pulls, or shaman/druid/priest if you want to do only small pulls (i u wont need too muc heal, and they can help to do dmg)
Furry Warrior + Elemental Shaman would be rather hard to stop.

I'm going to try the following combinations:
Warrior/Paladin, The paladin has nice buffs and can always keep me up, plus he doesn't die fast. But I feel his dps is limited because I have 2 melee characters. I'll give it a try for the first 20 levels and see how it goes.
Warrior/Shaman, It doesn't use double plate so thats a bonus right there. He can heal, has nice buffs and can even use earthshield, which is pretty passive and nice for a dual boxer I think. I can make him Elemental and he can help with the dps, and he doesn't die fast. It looks like the best hybrid option.
Warrior/Druid, Can use hots, so he can keep walking while healing. But I think he will become useless later on when i'm trying to pvp. I need to give him to much attention with switching forms and running away. Since that is what druids do. I think its a weak choice for me,
Warrior/Priest, looks like a no go. I don't like to recieve his power word: shield, and his fear makes the targets run away. He has little hots and wears cloth all the time. Making him a fragile healer.
I'm still a bit undicided between Paladin and Shaman. Can anybody comment on endgame healing? If I want to run 5 mans, I would only need 3 dps which are easy to find.
PS: Has anybody tried to pvp with a warrior/healer combo? How did that work out for you?

I want old windfury totem + sword spec warrior please.
at 70 a in burning crusades, was able to hold my own with resto shaman and sword spec warrior. its a good combo but windfury totem is not what it used to be. I think the pair is still viable but perhaps shaman dps doesn''t really complement the warrior. Shaman was straight purge/heal bot (no real dps). Trouble was healing and trying to fight on the warrior at the same time. It's a bit tricky i think 2 dps might be easier to manage. I bound cleanse spirit into my follow macro. any time i use ASDW keys it was also trying to cleanse passively.
I think ret pally + warrior would work for some high burst damage and ease of multitasking, once they're dead just eat / drink till full and repeat.
I plan on testing warrior + warrior for the fun of it. It's the class i enjoy playing most.
5x warriors anyone?

i would go for shaman. he is a better multi target healer. its a pain to heal as a pally if you need to heal all 5 people, especially if u need to concentrate on tanking

to be honest, i haven“t done that before
but trust me as i am saying that i have done a lot of 2on2 arena with my warrior plus a friend playing an healer (priest and pally)
warri + heal needs so much of positioning. i doubt anyone on earth is able to successfully multibox such a combo.

Oh definitely, as soon as things settle down and I can get back to five boxing I'll be doing an all warrior group.
I much prefer melee multiboxing it's like all action all the time, whereas ranged is continual stop start.

Sounds like a sweet idea when dualboxing. Combine this with the BOA gear and you`ll never ever have downtime. Get to lvl35 (I believe) and whirlwind the shit out of huge packs while keeping hots up.
