Forgive a noobies question, but I just started multi boxing today, and my eyes are tired and I could be missing this information.

I've gotten through all the basics, gotten keyclone and set it up, and everything's good there. All I'm trying to do is improve gameplay, and thank you very much all of you people that got me to this step.

I've played WoW for quite some time, but have never really been able to level a pally, mage, or priest for some reason or another. So I've decided to multi box with those three classes. I'm currently using the pally as a main, with the two casters sittin back and casting. However, I'm wondering if I can get the casters to STOP following my pally once they're in range of whatever spell I'm spamming as I close in on them.

In a nutshell..
1) Check to see if mob (using pally as focus)is in range
2) If mob is in range, stop moving and start casting.

I don't mind spamming this as I approach the mob, I'm just hoping there's a macro condition I don't know about that will be able to do this for me. Thanks in advance for the help, and sorry again for the poor english. My only excuse is extreme fatigue.

Hi,
before patch 1.10 it was possible, but nowadays, you unfortunately can't do this with the only help of macros and addons.

The only possibillity i know is setting up the keybinding for Forward at your alts to another key then "W", and then just hit this key before you want to cast, and your alts will stop following your pally, and they are ready to cast.

Many thanks, I'm glad that I wasn't missing this command. I thought I might have been going mildly insane last night.

The way I do it is set up my "non-mains" to use the arrow keys and unbind them from my "main". That way I can directly control my other characters and still use W,A,S,D for the main movement (which I have unbound from my alts). Doing it this way will give you quicker access to your bound keys if you have bound them to your numpad keys.

But Wulfos is right, there is no actual macro command to stop, incidently, just FYI there are no movement related macro commands that are allowed by the ToS. :)

Hope this helps.
