Is leveling two characters through dual boxing worth it? It took my an hour to get two shamans to level 5, where as playing one character I can get to level 5 in <30 minutes.

You're probably not set up for optimum levelling. I just started dual/tri boxing, and found that after I set up keyclone, got my assist macros working right, everything went a lot smoother, and I went marginally faster 1-15. I'm still easing my way into it though, and I expect it to only get easier.

i have everything set up, it's just slow because i have to do some of the quests twice, ex. item collection quests.

collection quests will always take you longer.

if youre still doing it, forget about the mouse. use keybindings and start mashing keys.

ive been playing with positioning the bars on the left and right hand sides of the screen so that all my actions are in the middle of my view. that way mouse movements are not as big, but it still slower than using key bindings and it also only works on dual boxing. any more and youre gonna be hunting bars anyway.

yeah that seems to be my main issue... the collection quests are just horrendous.

Also we are in our 20's and have done ALL the lakeshire quests and half of the duskwood quests, but everythings red to us now.

Its frustrating cause instances are slow... but half the quests are collections that can take hours to complete...

I dont want to do 100% instances to 30... but its starting to look like thats the best bet.

Leveling with two characters is insanely slow, as you get half the XP from killing things you would get solo, it means you have to do double the grinding to get where you would be with a solo character. Main reason I want to move up to a trio as then I'd get some group bonus too.

Hahaha, that's what I did last night with 4 toons as well. The experience is just... memorable! 120 parts and 40 bones and what.. 32 turtle scales?

The birds spawn rate is simply stupid.

Edit: ooh, is this a tip? That the next time we do pickup quests, perhaps toon1 will do quest A and toon2 will do quest B, so at the end, I am sure at least they are able to complete one quest each and the xp share is the same. One of my 5 toons already gained 0.8 level ahead...

dualboxing is fun you get to 1 shot npcs, if you're doing it right you should be leveling at 75%+ the speed of normal leveling, and even if you're leveling at half the speed you're le veling twice the charac ter . . . or possible more

Jubb exactly my philosopy (r whateer XD) and if you get 4 to lvl 70 at once at 16 days played its liek getting 1 caracters upp to 70 in 4 days played XD and that is no easy feat
