battle.net account limit

Guys, is the limit on the bnet account 8 wow accounts? or 8 blizzard games?

My current bnet account has 1 wow account and 4 other blizzard titles on it - and I would now like to merge in another 5 wow accounts, which is fine if the limit is on wow only - but if it's on titles i will be screwed halfway through....any idea?

8 blizzard games I believe. Pretty short sighted of them.

edit: I hit this and it said "you cannot add any more accounts" it didnt specify WoW accts, so thats why I think its any game and not just WoW.

There has to be some technical or other limitation at play here. I'd hate to think that they were discussing whether or not to place a limit on the number of accounts and someone said "how about eight?" and everyone else said "that sounds pretty good" and they went with eight.

I can't imagine that there is any real limit preventing them from extending the limit at some point.

How many non-boxers hit this limit? Probably none, so the limit works for the majority.

Until they extend this limit I've been refraining from adding my Diablo2 accounts to my Bnet account though.

Just tried it, now have

1 us wow
5 eu wow
diablo 2+xpac
warc 3+xpac

all merged in, not sure why my SC isnt merged in - either it didnt work or i forgot to :P

so, the limit is 8 wow accounts

Another question though: Any way to swap account without logging out?
