Okies, so my shammy team are up and running.

Now at level 12. I'm in need of some advice on what to spec them all, i started gonig down the elemental tree as it seems that it offers nice reductions to LB and damage improvements.

What tree did you spec your shammy's PVE and why?

I went Elemental all the way to 60 on my four shaman. Stuff dies so dang fast there's not much need for healing, maybe the occasional Lesser Healing Wave on themselves. Then I took one and ran her to 80, dual spec'd her for resto and elemental.

You can still throw up chain heals to a single key for each and should be sufficient healing in most non-instance related group quests and what not.

So, yeah, now I've got a group with a 60 Draenei Paladin, 3 60 Draenei Shaman and an 80 Draenei Shaman. Kinda gonna kill my XP for the 60s. And the whole 'phasing' thing in Northrend. Bleah. At least I hit 80 prior to doing half of Zul Drak, or any of Sholozar Basin, Storm Peaks and Icecrown.

Anyways, that's my take. I'm sure there are others who have done different... Especially since my butt was torn apart by some cow Enhancement shaman in AB last night... bleah.

With new changes to game that makes melee groups easier I would recommend all 4 going enhancement and then you wont have problems. At 60 chanage over to elemental if you like or continue enhancement until 80. It's pretty funny to watch your 4 slaves go attack something.

For what it's worth I used an arena tracker to look at the top elemental shaman builds and then copied them.

They're mostly identical (55/16/0 glyphs WS/GW/FS/Lv) with the exception of either a point here or there and the rare use of stoneclaw glyph.

The only changes I made were, for the multiboxing advantage, add in the extra target CL glyph and, while levelling, HS/LB glyphs instead of FS/Lv.

They might not be the best build for pve but almost everything is a one (or two) shot.

What changes are you talking about to make melee easier?

I have 5 L80 shamans -- my original started out at level 74 so I leveled 4 new shamans and a paladin togather to level 61 - the paladin tanked in prot spec, one shaman was resto, the other 3 were elemental.

Then at 61 I replaced the Paladin with my main shaman and ran BC instances with everyone as elemental (5 shamans).

BY level 70 I couldn't tank the new instance mobs with my main shaman anymore so I dropped the main and leveled the 4 lower level ones with random tanks -- I found that DKs worked the best because when a mob comes after me they can just death grip it to them -- they all stayed roughly the same until 78 -- I hit 80 on the four main ones and only played them - about 5 months later I went back and leveled the last Shaman to 80.

I think the changes referred to is the interact with target function making positioning melee stupidly easy now. My 2 shammy's just hit 60, boosting them with my Pally atm, but at 80 will have a 4 man team consisting of Pally Tank, DK, 2x Shammy's was going to have 1 Ele + 1 Resto but will prob change the Ele to Enh. 3x Melee + Chain heal ftw.
