This really throws a loop into us having two guilds. I strongly suggest that we abandon the "alt" guild and all become members of <The Zerg>. We really need to lay down the rules on the requirements to become a member of the guild and should start cleaning up the roster as soon as possible. If we don't act on this now, I suspect that many multiboxers will decide to contribute to their own guild instead.

Another thing that I've been thinking of is rather or not the achievements will be retroactive. If so, the sooner we all become members of <The Zerg> the better for everyone.

One way around the broken roster is to all join the same chat channel. I typically /join Multiboxing on my main character and I've been doing this ever since I first start boxing on Mag. You can see who is all online through the UI by selecting the channel on the chat pane.

maybe you could make different guildie level names for those who are boxers and those not. Sometimes I will get on and see 4-5 people in The Zerg on /who but don't know anyone's toons to ask DB questions.
Right now I have 6 alts on Mag and the DK guild member, I guess I missed the post about the alt guild

Yeah I've been thinking about this too...my hope is they increase the roster limit when they bring these changes in...that would definitely be win-win for everyone.

Moving everyone to the main guild won't take long, as long as it takes to type /ginvite a bunch of times.

I'm not really a fan of creating chat channels, as they are not secure. Yes you can password protect them, but then you have to go through the hassle of changing and communicating the new password to everyone when people leave or are removed from the guild. Also there is no way to guarantee that officers get channel op status - you could potentially have a situation where someone comes onto the channel, boots everyone and changes the password - none of these things can happen in G-chat.

Anyway I think it's time for a roster purge...I'll probably remove anyone who has been inactive for more than 3 months - if the final number of toons left after the purge is low enough, we can probably start moving people to the main guild straight away...

Cheers,
S.
