Make sure your bars are set to change bars based on stance. Unlock your bars, then right-click the individual bar and make sure it is set to change page or bar number when your stance changes.

No problem. I had the same problem getting this to work on my Rogue for a while before I realized the changes are all made on the local bar instead of the global config screen.

is there a way to make this work for stealth/unstealth since it isnt really a 'stance'?
Because currently bongos is used by my 5box team and my other mains use their own stuff. and the bars switch fine between stances but being able to have a bar change when stealthed/unstealthed on my druid will make me switch her over to that as well.

Stealth is considered a stance by WoW. Basically, in the default UI, that little bar that appears above your action bar that holds Warrior stances, Druid forms, Paladin auras, etc. also holds Rogue Stealth. WoW allows testing for the status of being in one of those modes in macros, including Rogue Stealth.
I am unsure if it works for Paladins the same way since I have never written a macro based on whether or not a Paladin aura was active.
The way I did it on my Rogue was creating an extra bar (bar 3) and making that my new Stealth bar. Then, I configured my bar 1 to page to the new Stealth bar (bar 3) when I am in Stealth. Then I just auto-hid the Stealth bar and locked its buttons.

I have not used bongo's in a long time but I can tell you that Bartender works fine for my druid when it comes to stealthing. It auto pages for each form and for stealth.
I would think it would be the same for a rogue?
Nothing else you could always build in a bar page change into a macro.
