I was wondering if anyone else did this as well. My number one button on my tank and 3 dps are castsequence macros right. So instinctively i put my resto shamans lesser healing wave on number one targeting the tank. This way no matter what happens i never have to worry about an oh shit heal. Think you have the earth shield 3 healing stream totems and spam lesser heal. Only thing now is i have to make a chain heal to target a dpser and have my shaman behind them a little bit so i can heal all 3 dps if needed. So how else is everyone making thier healing set ups. Ideas would be great just trying to tweak the final setup so i can grind bgs and instances to my hearts contents. Oh yea nothing better then sitting in the flag room of wsg and playing thunderstorm ping pong lol. Round robin for the win back n forth. You hit them once they comeback do it again over n over never stop. Wonder how mad they are getting.

I`m running paladin + 4 shamans.

My resto shaman uses the numpad keys. 1 to 5 are my party using simple macro`s like:

/target mom
/cast LHW

For raids with my 5boxing mate I also use 6 to 9 and * to heal the raid. + gives a ES on the tank, del HW on the tank and INS riptides the tank.

When I use 2 resto shamans during 10man raids I let the second shaman just heal the tank only with a simple cast sequence macro.

Nice i havent gotten to 10 mans yet im the only boxer on my server lol go figure. All the comments i get since they are not used to it. But the number pad seems like a great idea do u have to hit nething plus 1 - 5 or just 1-5 on the number pad cause with that i can actually just spam riptide lhw on any toon while being able to spam on my reg 1 button for tank. I like the raid idea with another guy being able to use 6-9 to heal the other grp of people but man i aint that coordianted haha. I still have trouble with the healer in grp so used to all dkgrp 4 bllod one ftost with each one having the glyph of rune tap. So this ones taking me a little bit to figure out.

I got mine setup so my resto uses 0-9 and alt+0-9 on the numpad got every heal for all toons on that, 0+1 is the first toon in the group(my tank) ect. numpad del is set to earthen shield, numpad + and / is my resto shammys talent abilities, what are they called? whatever!
Also got t-y-u-g-h(char1-5) set for all toons to heal that toon and alt+t-y-u-g-h for chain heals.
I ought to add a self heal with chain heal and a cleanse on all my chars but I've been a bit too lazy.. Come to think of it, I should probably add a heal assist too.

I use F4, F5, F6, F7 to /tar partymember /cast lesser healing wave. The main is always otherwise targeted, so F8-F12 are heals + an oh shit button (NS+HW)

Well, I'm running the same excat setup for all my teams, so it's working out pretty well Spyder =)
I do admit that it took a bit of getting used to at first, but I like the flexibility.

Been thinking about adding my USB numpad again(used it in EQ) for ease, but I'm not sure I can be bothered with that on my desk, hehe.

I would not put the healers hotkeys on the same keybind as your dps/tank spam.

Let's say you don't need any heals at the moment.
Well, you're wasting mana healing full health targets.

Let's say the healer needs a heal, but you're clicking a dps/tank function.
Well, unfortunately you are already casting a spell so are not free to cast at another target.

Personally you I'd say you have a few good options.
a) Have hotkeys for the healer to assist off the tank.
/cast [help] Heal; [help, target=targettarget] Heal.
b) Have specific keybinds for specific characters.

I do both options actually.

If my tank targets a friendly, then my healer can Riptide, Healing Wave, Lesser Healing Wave or Chain Heal that target, even if they're not in my group.
If the tank is targeting a hostile, then the first condition fails, and the heal goes to the target of my tanks target, which is whatever its whacking at - ie the toon that needs the heals.

Then I use G-keys, which are just set for obscure keybind combinations.
And have wow macro's on those keybinds to Healing Wave or Riptide the specific toon.
I've even gone into Jamba, and configured the (I believe Jamba Me), so when a toon goes below 66% life, Jamba raid warns the active (master) toon, Vysha hit, press G7.
