I'm currently boosting a set of toons in the 60s with my 80 prot pally, 3 of which have clickable aoe's (mage, druid, and DK). I figured it would speed things up if I could aoe down the big pulls since it takes the paladin all day to kill them.

My idea is to have the paladin get the big pulls and the alts aoe where she is standing, but I'm not sure how this is possible, 1. because the paladin isn't doing an aoe so I have nowhere to aim, and 2 the alts are standing somewhere else.

Would it be possible to just have everyone stand in oen spot and cast aoe's in place by clicking right where I am standing on my paladin?

I'm not too experienced in this one, but what you could do is have the pally get the aggro and move him back to be standing in the same spot as the alts. This can be achieved while the alts are in follow as long as you use a back key that isn't passed to the slaves. At the same time, have the slaves camera angle pointing straight down to their feet zoomed all the way in.

This isn't the best solution as it would leave your slaves vulnerable to mobs that AOE...but this way they'd be taking damage from the concecrate, blizzard, death and decay and the thunderstorm thingy.

I'm sure there's a far more elegant solution available, but that would depend on what software you're using.

Well, when my Keyclone mousing works, I don't usually have any problems with AOE on my group. F12 turns on mouse broadcasting, F11 does Hurricane on the druid, Rain of Fire on the Warlock, Chain Lightning on the Shamans and Consecrate on my Paladin {of course, I consecrate at least once while I gather the mobs, this is a secondary Consecrate button}.

I just lead them all back to totem range in front of my guys, so I know the mobs are in range of all AOE. With my slave screens scrolled all the way back, it puts me and the mobs right about dead center of their screens, so I just click on mouse passing, click the spell hotkey and click the center of my main's screen. As long as the camera angle isn't dorked, they all land right where they should. It should be about the same with any mouse broadcasting.

Guessing your using ISboxer / Inner, i would suggest that you pull big with your pally and then pin yourself against a wall, then hotkey to switch windows and use one our your alts for casting the targeted AoE. You should prob bind consecrate to the same hotkey as your AoE for the alts to maintain some threat build.

You will want to take off strobing and only broadcast the mouse so you dont move your pally and get mobs behind you.

No, if you're using ISBoxer there is NO reason to do it like this. Simply create a keymap with a Send Next Click funtion and send the key that is bound for the AoE spell. Export to IS, go hit the button for the AoE spell, then click on the main's screen, and the slave will click in the same location. It's relative to the click on the main, so if they're not facing the same way, make sure you account for this.

I was assuming that you didn't have all of your other windows lined up for the AoE already, but yes you are correct. If you had taken the time to setup the situation and know where each AoE was going to be placed it would be as you sad, but you can do it on the fly with a changing setup the way i stated it.

Guess at my alt's lvl i cant get close enough to setup this option as the mobs are way out of my lvl range.
