Well, after an entire month of no WoW (or internet access for that matter) I finally got into my new place, got the cable on, and got my accounts back on. Took me a bit to figure out the totem bar (that is the shiznit, by the way) and went to Gundrak to try a couple bosses before I had to go to work. Is it me just having some kind of brain fart, or did death knight tanks get nerfed the be-jesus out of? I actually had a wipe on trash in Gundrak :eek: Seems like my tank was taking a lot more damage than before.

Well, I do have a 70 bear I could dust off, he was a pretty decent tank when I was single-boxing. And, he happens to be on the 'main' account.

I find a bear tank to be extremely fun one-boxed.
But I've had a lot of issues finding a macro or clicksequence which doesn't suck.

Back in early BC, I main tanked a lot of Kara runs and had a blast.
But my boxing experience with a druid tank has not been fun at all.

I'll stick with the pally for PvE tanking.
A 96969 macro is very strong for single and multiple target threat.
The entire mechanic of Holy Shield, almost auto-blocking everything.
And massive threat on any block... makes for easy mode.

I keep seeing this pop up. What exactly is a 96969 macro? Googled it and I see a lot of different opinions.

969 rotation is simply rotating your tanking abilities in order of cool downs. Long cool downs first, then short and so on and so on

Paladin tanks have threat generating skills that line up very nicely in a rotation of 9 second cool down followed by 6 second cool down followed by 9second cool down etc.
