Heya folks,

Been multiboxing for over a decade in various games... but never enjoyed it near as much as i do now after finding this community and learning some new tricks.

Here is my setup.
Hardware:
Main PC - XP - Silverstone TJ09 Case, C2Quad 6600, 4GB(3) RAM, Nvidia 8800GTX, 500GB RAID 0
Top Rack - XP - C2Duo 6600, 4GB(3) RAM, Nvidia 8800GTS 640MG, 2TB RAID 5
Mid Rack - XP - P4 2.8Ghz, 2GB RAM, Nvidia 7800GS 256MG
Bottom Rack - Linux - Athlon 64 X2 4000, 1GB RAM, ...onboard video.

22" LG - Main PC
19" Acer - Top Rack / Mid Rack
19" Acer - Top Rack / Bottom Rack
1 Keytronic KB and 1 MS Intellimouse (I like cheap)Software: Keyclone and Synergy

I'm only using 2 machines to play right now. 3 running on my Main (alt/tab), and 2 running on the Top Rack machine. I definitely prefer having a single screen per client. I was waiting till i hit 70 to upgrade to a 5 monitor setup; both as a reward for the hard work and as a necessity for PVP. However, I don't think I can wait that long....

Any recommendations on how some of you would reorganize this for 5 or 6 monitors? I already intend to replace the desk to best fit the monitor setup, including buying any Ergotron mounts. Upgrading to vista for better multi screen support... not till a good service pack hits.

I particulary liked Vyndree's 6 widescreen monitor configuration, but i already have 3 19" Acers. Ellay's and a few others that i saw in the Gameslah post were also attractive.

I've got a few 70s to try tossing in the group for PVE, and fully plan to group with a friend or two when able. Did most of the leveling up to 40 with a 70 in the group, stopped that once i could farm ZF solo at 43. Started doing quests again in the 40s and 50s as well.

Here is a christmas shot of the Qs, as well as a few of the crowd favorites when I put on a show. :P The formations on the right are very easy to repeat. Nothing came out of my summoning attempts with the shaman pentagram thing btw, will leave that up to warlock teams I guess.

Looks like a standard 16(?)U Rack.

You can get get standard racks from most places that sell server equipment.

They save on space, but you'll be looking at around �100 for a decent 4U case (Which you'll probably need if you want a good graphics card in there and don't want to bugger about with riser cards and possible heat issues).

Look to me to be shorter than a standard rack mount, course I could be wrong it has been known to happen. :D

You can see a few examples at Lanshack.com (http://www.lanshack.com/Portable-Data-Cabinets-Racks-C295.aspx). This one is a 15U with casters, but i haven't found one quite like it online. Since it had been unused at where i work for 8 years or so, the owner let me have it. Not sure if i would have purchased one otherwise ($800). Oh.... with everything sitting on it right now, it is easily over 300lbs. LAN parties are only at my house. :P

The rackmount cases i put in it are Codegen 4U-500-CA (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811182566). $70 and a good build quality other than the front faceplate being easy to break off. It is all very quiet as well.

That was one of the first action figures Blizzard released back in the WarCraft 2 days. I lost his hat and axe a long time ago. Axe looked a heckuva lot like Gorehowl.

I have a bit, and its saved my life :) I've been working on "plays"/formations and totem art (very simplistic ones atm)

I have a 3-4 "act" play set up. Consists of a formation, 2 sayings and an optional ghostwolf. In addition before I run those macros I've been working on setting up a backdrop with totems.

Anyway I was being ganked in hillsbrad as usual at that level by a band of 3 roving alliance. About the 3rd time they went to kill me they finally realized that all my characters were very similar. One of them stopped the others from killing the last 2 of my 5 and I rezzed the rest. I then put on my little play and they clapped and ended up leaving me alone the rest of the night :)

I was talking with ya outside zf the other night and ended up checking out the website here.. thanks for sending me here, I only have 2 accts atm to play with. But hey you gotta start somewhere, Mage and a Lock lvl 5!!!

Glad to see I have piqued the interest of a few people in game. :) I know of a couple people on our server that are now actively boxing after seeing me and being referred to this site. Most had 2boxed regularly before, but learning about Keyclone and other software / hardware options really changed their capabilities.

Am I the only one that saw "totem art" and instantly thought it was a UI mod? I seriously looked on Curse, WoWUI, and WI.

It'd be nice to have a mod to do all the targeting and formation movements, but I don't think you could with in game stuff. Too similar to an automated bot if you think about it.

Until then, we could create a little routine with the Vipers. If we duel then I can cast on you. The mages would be able to execute coordinated fireball, freeze, magic missle... Not sure what to do with the priest but we could figure something out. You'll have to share some of your movement macros with me though...

Excuse my ignorance... What is Viewportmod? I tried to look it up but wasn't sure what you meant. Did you mean this shot wasn't real?

I took this shot flying on my Mount in outland combined with Alt-Z to get rid of the UI. I was amazed I could still see it from that high which is why I posted.
