Go see it.

Do not try to find out more about the plot. You will only be spoiling your own fun.

It was worth every penny to see it in theatres. Dare I say more value than my monthly 5-boxing subscription.

Hell, I might even *gasp* buy the DVD.

I will only say that "it's good," because I prefer not to sound like a raving lunatic, plus I would be too tempted to start talking about it.

Awesome, another vote, I'm off to my local theatre this weekend to watch it. I've seen the trailor, but still have no idea what it is about. The rotten tomatoes score got me all excited as well :-).

I usually never see movies in a theatre and just wait for the DVDs, as I'm just not a movie buff to begin with. I'm on travel and didn't have much else to do.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in quite a while. Agreed, do not go to try to read up on it because it just doesn't do it justice. This is one of those movies that you can enjoy more by knowing less about it up front. The action starts pretty much in the first minute and continues throughout the movie. I don't even recall a "slow" part to it.

Saw this last weekend and thought it was great. The sign of a good movie - when you are discussing plot intricacies long after the movie has finished.

What really amazed me was that the guy who played Wikus - this was his first time in front of a camera, having only previously done directing and production work.

Most original sci-fi movie I've seen in a long time - definitely worth seeing.

Warning - bit gory in parts, not for those with a weak stomach. ;)

Cheers,
S.

Hmm might double post or forum just ate my post. It's acting weird for some reason. Anyway I went to see this tonight and thought it was pretty well done. I'm really suprised it was all newbie actors. GF didnt get it at first had to explain abit till it got later in the movie then she finally got what was going on hehe. It's definately one I'll probably buy so I can see some of the little things I'm sure I missed.

Went to see it last night too, honestly I think it's mediocre at best. Not going to recommend it to any of my friends anyway..

Actually I think I will go see this, since some of you all are giving it a thumbs up and I like what I saw in the trailer, of course I was also wanting to see Harry Potter but its going to be a toss up.
