Just ran my hunting party through Zul'Farrak last night and cleared it for the first time. Had one wipe at the first fountain on a bad pull, but came back and cleared everything up till Gaz. Once I cleared the pool and took him down I logged out for the night. I forgot to take screenshots after killing the boss in the cave and playin king of the hill on the stairs, but got the following to show ya some progress. Now they just gotta rest up a bit before I start questing again. Gotta make another run cause one of the girls is missing a scarab scale from the quest, so I'll run it again once they're wel rested. Got like 500xp per kill in there at our lvl with the rest/party bonus. The priest is Disc, 2 hunters are BM, and one is MM for the Trueshot Aura. PvE questing, I have no downtime for mana refilling as my priest hardly needs to heal, I can cast PW:Shield on the bears and hit Mend Pet on the hunters and thier health is back up in 2 seconds. Healbot on main helps too for not loosing target focus when I actually need to heal tho.

Thanks. If Gnomes could be Hunters, and I woulda thought about it then, I probably woulda rolled three of them and name'em all Goldilocks, with some variations.

Am I seeing this correctly? You're about at-level for Zul'farrak (it looks like 46, so maybe a little higher than normal, but still) and you cleared the 5-man instance with just 4 characters? Wow, I'm impressed, especially after I just managed my first Deadmines clear over the weekend.
Would you mind giving some details on how you run them? It looks like maybe you run the priest as your main, but then how have you setup the two different hunter specs? I run a hunter as main so that I have better control over both the pet and shots/stings, so I'm trying to figure out how you would run hunters as the other team members.
Anyway, gratz, nice work! :)

Had just hit 45 when I first stepped foot in there, but yea, I lead with my Priest and use Healbot to clickheal the ones that are in dire need of it. I keep Mend Pet up at all times with my Hunters. They all keep Aspect of the Viper up to lower their damage output as not to draw aggro and to grant them an infinite pool of mana :D I'd have to log into each account and copy the macros then post here, but right now I can't. Below are links to their Armories if you wanna see their specs. Nothing fancy, but it seems to work for me for now. Once you get your pet to lvl 44 to get Thunderstomp, it really helps with them dishing out dps and drawing aggro. I'll admit, it wasn't a breeze running Zul'Farrak even at this level, but I managed. Took me a while, but I managed it. My pallies are a little quicker at it than this team tho, and they were lvl 43 on their first run, with no wipes I might add :D Be very careful if you use your pets to tank, cause you can't control the mobs and where you want them. They'll run in directions you don't want and end up pulling more. Which is what caused my first and only wipe as of yet. TAKE OUT HEALERS FIRST. I can not express that enough. Then work on them Shadow Hunters in there cause they can and will Hex whoevers is holding aggro. And it sucks when it happens to your toon your leading with. Happened at every turn with my Pallies, but those were easier to take on with 3 bears tanking them.
Here's their Armory links:

If you'll notice, some of their gear is still leather, not necklaces, and half their gear is from lvl 30 quest rewards from Stranglethorn Vale. Gonna respec them again anyway to make my MM Hunter their one that's got Skinning to help boost her dps. As long as you 'hurt' the enemy before your pets kill them, you'll still get credit/xp/loot when they die. This is how I boosted my teams thru DeadMines and Stockades with my main Hunter. Set pet to passive, park slaves somewhere safe, ran a hallway and drug them back to slaves, but not too close. Toss down Explosion Trap, then hit pet attack button then Volley and mowed them all down in one spot. Repair bills were a pain tho :( I know there are better ways to boost, but I knew that way and it didn't get my toons killed. Ok, when I first did it, they died a few times ;) I learned quick tho.

Awesome, thanks for the detailed advice. I forgot all about the possibility of using Aspect of the Viper to control the aggro level (and the infinite mana is a nice side effect, too). I think I'm even more impressed after seeing your team's gear. I went all out making sure my 5-man team had the best crafted stuff I could get them before going into the Deadmines. It was probably overkill, but it made my first real instance run a lot more comfortable.
