Hello again,

I know have my Keyclone license and happily running around my army of 5 dwarfs 1 shotting wolfs, yes it's simple things that keep me happy ! Anyway, so far I must say I'm impressed with the software and I'm glad I purchased a true license.

I hope to be a part of this community over time and will constantly check what people have done and are intending on doing etc.

Up to now I've controlled my characters in a very different way and this is going to make my life a lot easier so thank you. (For those who read my maximizer post Keyclone is doing the job fine as you said it would so thanks).

I have started to create macros and redefine every key control and it's great !

The only problem I have experience up to this point is the override facility, I currently have it set to F12 and assumed upon pressing it i would have individual control over which ever window I highlighted. However it doesn't seem to be working... I'm getting the big red test saying "mute" but all inputs are still sent to each window, is this something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the help and I'll see you about !

forgive me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe there is an issue when you switch the override key. I kept mine as PAUSE and have a few minor issues where the word mute will pop up but everything is still sent to the clients.

Does pressing F12 ever work for you? Have you tried pressing it multiple times to see if it just wasn't taking the first time (stupid, I know but just want to make sure it isn't something simple.)

For the time being you might just want to revert your override key back to PAUSE.

Thanks alot Contents, it turns out F12 doesn't work for me as an override key. I set it back to PAUSE (which also didnt work) but it seems the key was slightly off and now its working fine.

Thanks alot :)

@MonkofDoom
hey there... welcome to the forums

the mute image is a bit iffy on the graphic window. the underlying game window is constantly redrawing and messing up the text. this would be why it seems to shimmer or flicker.

as for the pause key not always working... i have not seen that. could your system be pegged, cpu-wise? if you have a multi-processor box, could the cpu that keyclone is running on be pegged?

btw, i have read that some people have redefined their pause key to ENTER. i haven't done this yet, since i'm fairly use to PAUSE by now, but it seemed like a nice alternative. just a suggestion.

i'll try mashing the override this weekend and see if i come across the problem

its not a real problem, it's just something I noticed other people had mentioned happening to them as well. I'm used to it now, and none of my CPU's are above 80%

I assume that it is my keyboard. It's been acting rather odd lately, such as override only working depending on how hard I press PAUSE.
