Just hit howling Fjord at 68

I would like some suggestions as to what kinds of weapon upgrades to choose for my 5X Druid Team. I'm leveling them as Boomkins but I've always used staves and now the very 1st major weapon upgrade is a 1hand Mace.

Anyone know of any useful links on this matter.

In Borean Tundra, Last Rites (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12019), lvl 68, Staff of the Purposeful Mendicant (Staff of the Purposeful Mendicant). I use it on my casters and have never looked back. It even works pretty much until lvl 78. Put a staff SP enchant on it.

Keleseth's Blade of Evocation drops off the first boss in utgarde keep. You can farm that boss over and over pretty quick to get it. I used it on all my casters until almost level 80.
Tome of the Lore Keepers goes good with it and drops in the nexus.

With my group I went for the staff ElectronDF mentioned and used that until 75 and then did the Ring of Blood thingy in Zul'drak.

I did stay away from most instance on my way to 80 (I only ran them once for the quests) since I knew I would them run over and over again when I hit 80 but if you don't mind that just go for what Smooth posted - more then a good alternative.
