View Full Version : [WoW] Dualspec Macro?
Since dualspec always deletes my skills from the skillbars by switching is it possible to make a macro that stays.. something like
/cast spell1 (if exists in spellbook)
else /cast spell2
??
thx for help

/cast [spec:1] Spell1; [spec:2] Spell2
hmm too bad it keeps on deleting that macro from my skillbar as soon as i switch the spec :/
but thx. the macro works - i just have to re-set it to the bar every time.

Basically you have your default bar.
You have your default glyphs.
You have your original talents.
When you purchase a dual spec:
You have the talents reset.
You have no glyphs for the second spec.
Your bar should be the same as the original as far as which spells are where.
As you change which spells appear in which places, wow remember separately for each spec.
If you were to make a macro like the above, you'd have to drag it onto the bar for each spec.
Thereafter wow should remember the macro is on each bar.
The only real advantage to this is there are a finite number of macro's available.
If you're not running out of macro's you can just have a macro for each spell, one per spec.

switch spec, create macros for new spec, place macros in bars, switch out, switch back and they should still be there - or are you using some sort of bar addon?

It is not getting deleted , you just need to place the macro on both 'versions' of the action bars.
hm must've been some weird addon ò.Ó
thanks all :)
