Heya, i need a program that actually places your mouse on the same spot... For aoe or somthing.

I've tried using Mouse, cloner and it doesnt do what i want. I'm not going to pay for things like innerspace either.

Just want somthing simple that points mouse curser in same spot on both windows.

Octopus and HKN both do this. I don't think there's another stand-alone free tool that just does mouseclick broadcasting.

I dont want their version. Thats a CLICK broadcaster not a MOUSE broadcaster. Somthing to pinpoint the exact position, eg, 2 flamestrikes in the same position.

If you're just doing AoE, you just need to broadcast the click spot. I use Octopus mouseclick broadcasting for Hurricane, trees and all my other targeted AoE stuff.

Using octopus... Doesnt that mean that it just clicks in same spot e.g. middle of the screen, I want it so i.. Stack 2x flame strikes EXACTLY on top of each other. Or 2 blizzards etc.

None of this "out of sync slightly" crap

No program can do that unless:

All characters are standing on exactly the same spot
All characters have exactly the same camera distance/yaw/pitch
All characters are facing exactly the same direction

Once the above three are satisfied, Octopus will click in exactly the same spot on all 5 clients.

Could you give me an example situation where mouseclick broadcasting (in Octopus, Keyclone, whatever) isn't working like you want it to work? Seriously. I've used it to hurricane, blizzard, rain of fire, Volley, all sorts of targeted AoE and as long as I had the group facing the same way and with the same camera views, I've never had a problem with it being far enough off to matter.

Clicks get broadcast to positions. At least that's how HotkeyNet does it, and so far as I know, all other programs do it the same way.

Positions are relative to the window frame, not to WoW's graphics. With HotkeyNet, if the windows are the same size and shape, the positions are exact. If the windows are different sizes and shapes the exact position may include a fraction of a pixel in which case HotkeyNet has to round off the location. This causes a rounding error which can never be larger than a fraction of one pixel.

Like Ughmahedhurtz explained, since positions are relative to the window frame, not to WoW's graphics, it's impossible for a third-party program to make the clicks land on the exact same animated parts of the game graphics.

(Well it's not impossible but the third-party program would have to read WoW's memory and this is a serious violation of Blizzard's rules. None of the programs discussed here do that.)

One thing to worry about first is the camera and were in the game you are clicking. You can use /script SetView(#) where # is 1-5. I bound the setview keybind of [ for view 2 and ] for view 3. Just set them up before hand and then just push [ and then your spell and then your mouse click broadcast. I use it on my hunters for flare. I kinda like it if my flares are spread out, so I put my hunters views off by a little. I don't use it on my locks, I like hellfire since I have a priest to heal anyway. I admit I don't use my DKs DnD enough, mobs just die too fast and it is a LOT of runes.

The older versions of mouse, cloner did what im trying to explain. Wondering if there are any new progs that do it.

So you want something free... best bet is HKN for mousebroadcast + free.

As said above this isn't possible. The clicks are X,Y from the top left corner of the screen. That means ANY difference in your in game position, point of view, facing, etc all effect that. Since you can't get this all synced up, it's impossible to do what you are asking.

The older versions of mouse, cloner did what im trying to explain. Wondering if there are any new progs that do it.

The older version of [banned software] sent clicks to pre-designated X,Y coordinates which was determined to be a "bad idea" by blues and a whole lynch mob of others.

If you want mouse broadcasting to EXACTLY X,Y from the top left corner of your screen you can get it for free with HKN, or you can get it easily automated from InnerSpace with ISBoxer for a subscription.

If you want mouse broadcasting to exactly cast flamestrikes within the same exact circle in the 3d window... well lets just say I wanna have sex with a toothless hooker, and one of us is going to be disappointed.

keyclone does this, just set your camera view to the same on each char then hit the hotkey for mouse cloning and off you go. Of course it's not free, but $20? near as dammit.
take a look at this thread that just started in this very forum http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=23607

Hey i am really new in this boxing thing.. but im learning... atm im boxing with octopus. And i tried hard to clone the mouse also. That wasnt difficult at all, but my prob. now is that when i rightclick and move the camera it doesnt do that on my dual boxing char ... so when i turn the cam i walk in another direction.

That would be really cool because then i dont have to play the "follow" style. So i just stick my char in the other and play everything normal... is there any programm that does thi.. or even octopus? As it was written at the beginning of the Thread i think he had the same problem.. but i dont read any solution...?!

So you don't want to pay, and you used Mouse Cloner, which isn't free? So your using cracked versions? We don't discuss that stuff OR Mouse Cloner, so support developers or gtfo.
