First, the setup. I have 4 pcs, 2 running vista, 1 running xp and one running 7 (it's legit, I'm still running the test version until they shut it off). I am on a vista machine. Now, Keyclone, Mubox, Multibox and octapus all pass keys onto the other operating systems, but for the life of me I can't get this to happen in Warhammer on the 7 machine. It works fine in vista and xp, but 7 is being a jerk. When I did WoW, I ran all instances on one machine (because my computer pwns) and I could easily do this with warhammer, if it didn't have a focus problem. What is wrong with warhammer on windows 7 that it won't accept my keystrokes, even though it works in 2 other operating systems and outside of the game? I've tried all sorts of networking settings, program options, compatibility modes, running as administrator (I have to do this on 7 anyways or it won't let the launcher patch the game).

*Note: I've opened wow, and the password screen accepts key presses (I couldn't try in game as I have no time on the accounts, but I assume this works)

Am I doomed to 3 box?

Newer versions of Windows (W7, W2008) offer UI protection. This prevents the injection of things such as keyboard events into the VIQ from another Application. I've never tested this protection, but it's documented on MSDN. Application authors simply make one API call to enable this protection, subsequent attempts to inject input will fail without any errors to the calling application. This was added as a security feature within Windows. Try running Warhammer in compatibility mode, see if that helps. I too run on W7, but have never played warhammer. If you like I can try and locate a trial or something and give it a go. To my knowledge there isn't anything special about W7's handling of UI, Input, etc except for the new UI protection APIs. I can't imagine games would be using them (yet) but it's the only thing I can think of that would affect all applications (though, there's a good chance InnerSpace wouldn't be affected, as it sandboxes the app by emulating the host environment.)
