Im having a hard time keeping aggro now. Had to taunt off mage first, then shammy overaggroed.
Threat on my prot pally was much higher than this DK. Used to run pally+4 shammys

Could be an older copy of DBM, or DBM is still not corrected.

When the instances were being made Kronus was the original name of the mob but it was renamed to Loken.

I believe they changed it in a patch.

Ok, I've gotta ask. How the hell is your DK holding aggro with <1k dps? Mine does 1.5 and starts having aggro issues when people are doing over 3.5k dps.

I wanna know how the hell your mage was pulling 6k DPS! My mages on a short fight like that with all my cooldowns can maybe do 4k, but usually 3-3.5k and are geared in mostly naxx 10 and 25 gear...

way way way back in beta testing of wrath Loki's name was Kronus, but they changed it. No it was not photoshopped.

This is my second team. They hit 80 1 week before 3.2 patch except Felyn is from my old pally+4shaman team.
Had time to get badges for trinket and offhand before patch hit. Rest of the gear is mostly from ToC normal/heroic and t8,5 chest/helm.

Yes I do need to find a new rotation for my DK. Pre 3.2 I used /castrandom for some of the spells and had 1,5k+ dps. This fight was very low.
Started with D&D, Deathchill and howling blast, bloodtap, plaguestrike. runes is on CD, Frost strike/runestrike(if up) After that i use a castsequence instead of my old castrandom.

Need a new starter that doesnt put all my runes on CD right away

well people in outland greens don't usualy do 6k+ dps and Loken in less than 30sec.

Didn't see the persons armory but i'm guessing that they stacked the crap outta haste and crit while have minimum hit rating need, combined with boomkin +13% spell dmg and mage buffs, while popping BL and every other CD. Meaning they're geared for heroics. However stick them in a raid and watch the numbers drop.

I don't know anything about mages but I can't figure out how your shaman even does 5k dps with 1800 spell power.... 1835 was without flametongue weapon. Got some upgrades from ToC today, got 2201 spell power with flametongue now. Shammy is raid hit capped, mage/druid isnt. With the upgrades i should be able to get over 6k on short fights with heroism.

EU armory is down, but are you full frost or frostfire?

Heroism + Icy Veins + click trinkets must be insane on those short fights ;). I can pull 6k on raid fights with my mage (fire), but short fights are pure luck with hot streak procs :(.

do you use a dedicated healer? if so dps would be a bit higher than 4x dps

i tried, but he only did about 600-700 more dps than prot....and i had to bubble and heal and stuff, almost got one shotted(learn from me that ret tanks don't really work :P)
Also shaman that did almost 7.5k is pretty much badge geared, she has ring and cloak from naxx from some random pug i went into
