For some reason, whenever I click on a link that takes me to a forum post here, it wont' take me to the post, it brings me to the main page... does this in firefox and IE... anyone else have this problem?

Post the links, chances are (100% actually) that its a bad link.

It's not that the information no longer exists it's just that the link changed during the migration to the current forum software, odds are a search on the site for the description seen on or around the link will get you going in the right direction.
