3.2 rocks my world!

I just wanted to say that so far, I'm loving 3.2!!!!!!

After that initial hickup with the /castrandom nerf, things have been going great! Before Tuesday, I did not have a single Emblem of Conquest on any of my toons, now I have:

Conqueror's Aegis Breastplate and Conqueror's Aegis Faceguard for my Paladin

4x Conqueror's Worldbreaker Hauberk and 4x Conqueror's Worldbreaker Helm for the Shamen!

Thanks to suggestions from Fursphere and others, my DPS is considerably higher than it ever was before 3.2.

I also finished ToC on Normal for the first time last night and got an upgrade for one of the Shamen!!!

And hopefully in another week or so I can make my first purchase with the Emblems of Triumph I've been collecting every day!!! Great time to be a multiboxer!

There was really no point to all this, but I'm bored at work and just wanted to share my overall enjoyment of the most recent patch. Now if we can just convince Blizzard to ditch the whole jousting thing, i'd be a happy man!

also, i agree :D i wuv 3.2...only thing i had to change was the castrandom macro for the pally tank. atm, i have the 1-button /castsequence 96969 macro.

then, solo-played pally and OT'd naxx10 today (so he can be ok-geared to do heroics with the shammies) for the first time and got quite a few upgrades and off-spec gears PLUS the EoC's. i had a blast as it was the first time i actually found out what the boss' actual abilities were (i sometimes solo-play a mage, my ex-main). i dunno why i just shared that. i think im bored here at work.

Id have to agree with all you said here. I have gone from 28k health to 35k health on my tank with a mix of epic gems and TOC upgrade gear. Ive only farmed 25 emblems so far but its good to know there are still some upgrades to go for. My shamans are also getting pimped with almost full epic gear on all of them.

I havent finalised my dps macro yet, Ive just been lightning bolt spamming but I am still breaking 3k dps with that so im happy for now. Also love dropping all totems at once, that is the best change imo.

Grats on your nice upgrades. I have only ran a couple of heroics, since I am have having a blast leveling my locks in AV/Isle. Seems like 70-80 AV is like 90% lvl 79 and below. Its tough to find a tank for Vann ><

I'm loving 3.2 as well because of all the new emblem grear options I have from running heroics. I also cleared the normal ToC instance last night for the first time and got 5 epic drops for that run. :D

This patch has definately given my level 80 team more life and caused me to put my new mixed class group (level 30) on hold for awhile. ;)

Oh, and I also failed to mention in the original post that 3.2 has also saved me 20,000 Gold. Now that slow flying is significantly faster, combined with Crusader Aura, I dont see any need to go for Epic Flying anytime soon!

I find it retarded that people use a cast random. Its easy to setup a maxx dps cast sequence for most classes, especially shamans. Why go lazy with a cast random when you can have more dps and more control about what your dps does. Its not hard to watch cooldowns on spells and figure a sequence.

I used it for the DPS AND for adding things like purge, if a mob needed to be purged, the /castrandom did it, if not it just DPSd. For my paly and for Hunters, the timers come up for abilities at odd intervals, so cast random let you add Divine plea.. hammer of wrath, ect. I still miss it( for my hunter and paly), but /click has gained me more DPS on my shamans than i ever got with /castrandom 8)

Still. Shamans have a very easy "perfect" castsequence. I personally would never stray from it.

And about 3.2.
I find it shit on one hand and good on the other.

It`s great for us boxers since we can get the easy gear. It sucks bad now that everybody runs around in the same gear in a few weeks. Even retards.

If I was a single boxer who was in the game for the raiding part I would cancel my subscription.

Could someone, once and for all, explain why this is a problem? I've seen this everywhere and it's presented like the reason should be self-evident. I can understand that it's true, people really feel this way, but it sounds incredibly weird. Do you play the game for these fake rewards in and of themselves, or for fun? What is the point of those fake rewards except to go have fun in a slightly harder dungeon? Is the gear a token of having had fun? Should fun be hard to achieve? :) If someone popped up who was getting annoyed that WoW seemed too much like work, what are the chances that this person would also be annoyed that epic gear was now easier to obtain?

Now then as for 3.2 its awesome, my pally who Mt's for my guild was allready pretty well geared and now my "followers" can catch up before the next expansion and not be terribly behind trying to catch up if they are needed to sub in for raid spots.

Honestly, i've done my normal 5 so many times, I've got them down to a science. I can do each in 30 minutes or less.

Luckily, my wife is also a WoW addict as well, so I get sympathy there. My kids are not as forgiving though. I felt really guilty because those first few days after the patch, I was a Heroic MADMAN!!!! Lately I've been slowing down though and just do my normal 5, mostly after the kids are in bed.

I haven't noticed any increase in DPS aside from what I'd expect from gear upgrades.

Obviously the gear upgrades. Fursphere's new "click" macros, and then just some tweaking to my specs, which I guess didnt really have much to do with the patch itself, but all of it came about from the original nerfing of the /castrandom macro and that post-3.2 macro thread which had some great info.

And since I originally started this thread, I have gotten TWO more upgrades per character with Emblems of Conquest!!!! I've also picked up some upgrades in Normal ToC (still cant do Heroic yet).

Been going badge crazy since 3.2 on team 2 (Pal+4 Sham). Have the T8.5 Helm and Chest and gloves or belt on the team already. However I logged in today to find I was still locked from yesterday! No expiration date/time on each instance ID on any team member! I have a ticket open... since I opened the ticket this morning I might ask for a badge adjustment for a day of missing the dailies and the associated badges from the locked content.

I have been into ToC normal many times and to be honest the mounted stuff is fine if it doesnt bug out.

1. If you back your team all the way up against a wall they get line of sight issues.
2. Pre-transition from mount on Champs can bug out (trampled all 3 for about 5 minutes before I gave up and zoned).
3. Watch your targeting post-transition on Champs. For some reason I could not change target on my main screen.

After about 10 normal runs and one heoric ToC I have only seen one Trink (+haste) drop. I have friends that say after about Wednesday they have not heard of anyone they know getting a Trink drop... maybe just a huge bucket of bad RNG luck for multiple people but that seems a tough sell.

Go forth and farm heroics, and skip the pain in the butt boss fights. We need badge volume!

I find it retarded that people can come on to the forums and make sweeping statements like this, basically implying anyone who doesn't use your method is a retard.

FYI - prior to /click, castrandom spells put out better DPS that castsequence in some situations, mostly for people playing from higher latency locations (e.g. Oceaninc), becuase of the way castsequence works, i.e. client waits for confimation that the spell has been cast before sending the request to cast the next spell in the sequence, effectively giving you a double latency bewteen casts.

Twenty heroism badges for the single color epic gems, 10 badges for the two color epic gems. Icy Prisms also have a chance to drop epic gems as well.

The fishing daily can as well. I was surprised to complete the fishing daily the day after the patch, and receive a +20 hit epic gem in the bag.

yeah you can get them different ways but patch day everyone wanted ore! I prospected one giuld tab of ore and we sold the gems and we still had 2 tabs that we sold..was great!
