The price is about right. Make sure you know the shipping costs compared to shopping local. That can kill any savings.

The area I work in bought about 50 dell pc's about 2 years ago with the dell 19" lcd monitors. Since then they've replaced about 90% of them due to some really bad shadows all over the screens. Looks like tiger stripe shadows.

If you haven't bought them yet, check out Acer's screens. I got one on my laptop that's 1080p and I love this thing. They sale a 27" one on Newegg.com I'm wanting to buy for my Xbox 360. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009165
