Since this is my first time to post in this forum and since I have not even started multi boxing yet
(still collecting information before I start), please forgive any "noob" mistakes or the like.
The search function has not yielded the right results either.

I have a pretty good computer setup at home and I would be able and willing to pay for two accounts,
but thats where it ends. So my plan is to level two characters through RAF and either let a third character
gain from the 30 bonus levels collected, or create another team later.

My Plan: I want the following Chars (at least)
- Elf Priest
- Draenei Warrior / Paladin
- Human Mage

No I want to level the priest together with the Warrior / Paladin (still cant decide, but Warrior is definitively
my favourite).
So my question is this: Does this combination work out?

yes Tank and healer are a good place to start. Some people like to start with two of the same toons to make starting out easy, but you are the one who has to live with the choice for 60 levels

As alcattle said, two of one class can be a good way to start and learn, because you can have matching actionbars and keybinds, so with two priests for example, if you cast smite on one, you know the other will cast smite too :)

Different classes is trickier, but can also be more rewarding, as if you reach the level cap and then decide multiboxing is not for you, you've got two different chars at 80 instead of the rather pointless case of having two of the same class. (As happened to me, I got two warlocks to seventy then went back to single-boxing and the second warlock is just a waste of space now)

If it's a toss up between Paladin and Warrior, here's the major factors to think about:

Warrior: He never has to stop for mana unlike a Pally (and health shouldn't be an issue with your priest present)
Paladin: Potentially fewer deaths with the pally as both chars can heal, Pally can (arguably) has better tools for keeping the priest alive, and in the event of a really bad pull, divine intervention prevents durability damage and a corpse run.
