RAF Question

Hey Everyone,

Let me preface this by saying that I searched WIKI and the forums to answer this question and found some info, but not exactly what I was looking. I want more info on the difference between three boxing with the first/primary being a level 1 on my main account, referring two RAF accounts vs. using my main to "boost" and having three RAF accounts. Do I use my main to RAF and then use each recruit to RAF the next recruit? I have an 80 druid and an 80 DK that I could use to boost or I can just level three level 1's. I'm still not clear as to what's best. I was thinking of pally (tank), shammy (heals/versatilty), and a lock (for fun, pet, and SS) or hunter. I have a priest and a druid so I prefer not to use them as healers. I know many suggest mages as the dps, but my first toon ever was a mage and I have never played a hunter past 30 ish. If anyone would be so kind as to explain more in detail (aka step by step) the best RAF setup and comment on my group combo, I would greatly appreciate it. Further, can I RAF from the trial RAF accounts or do I have to upgrade them all immediately? Thanks for your time.

Hey mate,

If you are using an 80 to boost you are going to want to do your RAF refer like this:

MAIN(80) refers ACCOUNT A.
ACCOUNT A refers ACCOUNT B

That way when the 80 and the 2 lowbies are grouped - both lowbies will get triple xp because while the link between A & B is void as one character is too high - the link between lowbie 1 and 2 works fine and this takes priority.

However if you are levelling up 3 brand new characters - and want to create a 'free 60' on an account the best way to do this would be MAIN refers A and B that way A and B can each grant 29 levels to a lowbie on MAIN.

Stats. Can I level them to 60 on the free trial raf accounts or do I have to buy three games? Ay comments on my group? Any tips are appreciated. Any comments on the comparison vbetween doing it either way?

You can only get to level 20 on the free trial, and can't trade or mail anything to these characters. So you'd have to buy a game for each RaF toon you wanted to get.

Also, 1 tank, 2 hybrids seem to work well for a group comp (Pally + 2 Shaman works well)
