Jafula - you have helped the multiboxing community a great deal and I thank you for that. I'm hoping Jamba can solve another problem that is plagueing the multiboxing community:

Having our toons split up between different groups in a BG

I'm not asking you to incorporate an addon that sends begging tells to whomever the BG leader is asking for us to be in the same group. What I'm asking for is for the Jamba status bar, the one that shows follow status and experience bars, to display the toons in the same order Pitbull does (I believe alphabetically) with their health bars.

I know this won't solve all multiboxing problems in BGs. I know shamans totems will not affect their slaves in other groups, and I know druids tranquility will not spread out between the toons, but what it does allows is for us to heal our slaves just like we would in a party.

For example, I have numberpad 1-5 set up to heal my five different toons. With Pitbull, the list is always the same so I know that when I hit number 2 the heals are going on my Owltoid listed second from the top. If Jamba showed healthbars in the same order, then for BGs I could just ignore who is in my group and keep status on my slaves health through watching the Jamba status list. Even though slave 3 is in a different group, since it's third from the top on my Jamba list (and likewise my Pitbull list if I wasn't in the raid) then I know hitting 3 will send the healer a "/cast [target=Owltoid3] Healing Touch"

I'm not asking you to incorporate an addon that sends begging tells to whomever the BG leader is asking for us to be in the same group. This is not related to your request, but I just wanted to share my beggin macro. I find it very useful, and it's alot easier than to whisper the leader manually. I found this macro some time ago on the official boards, tweaked it to my needs.

/run local g,l for i=1,GetNumRaidMembers()do local n,r,c=GetRaidRosterInfo(i)if UnitIsUnit("player","raid"..i)then g=c end if r==2 then l=n end end SendChatMessage("Yo :) I would like to be in the same group as my friends. So if you don't mind please promote (/promote Xiuy) or make assistant to "..UnitName("player")..", group "..g,"whisper",nil,l)

When you click the macro, it whispers the leader (bg or not), with the message in the "". Other than that, it uses your name and pastes your group number, to make it easier for the leader.

I use the word "friends", because it saves me from a lot of trouble .. Like alot of questions and multibox haters, which I met in the start with a different macro :P

Wow, thanks for sharing that! I'm still hoping for a Jamba solution, but automating begging does help the cause! :)

I believe you'll have what you want in version 0.5 when it's released. Jafula has made it to where you can set the invite order so your alts can be in the same slot every single time.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

What I'm asking for is for the Jamba status bar, the one that shows follow status and experience bars, to display the toons in the same order Pitbull does (I believe alphabetically) with their health bars.

Its on its way in 0.5. See the up/down buttons in the team control panel below? The team list gets displayed in the same order you specify here.

I'm just in the process of updating the team display, so its good to know you want to use the health bars the way you are describing.

Wow, just amazing. You, Freddie (HKN), Rob (KeyClone), and this site administrators have truly enabled multiboxers to take their game drastically farther. Thank you! It looks like I'll be staring at my Jamba list during BGs once released :)
