I know that the switch just happened not too long ago, but I have to jump through some MAJOR hoops to get into the forums.

I thought it was something random at first, but I am getting the same problem again (after clearing my cookies/cache) so I am posting it here.

When I fill in my login information at the top of the page, check the box to "remember me" and then hit loging, the page goes blank (loading the screen), but it NEVER logs me in. I can see all of the Categories for the forums, but when I select something (like "General" or "New to Multi-Boxing") there is nothing inside the forum. It shows me the forum information (most users ever online / who is online now / etc), but there are no threads.

I used the "forgot password" button and had a new one sent to my email. When I followed the links to get into the forum everything was fine. I assumed it was a problem with changing forum-hosts, so I didn't think much of it.

When I get back to my computer after lunch, I accidentally hit the "back" button too many times, and I was "logged out". When I tried to log in, I got the SAME problem. Cleared my cookies/cache (again)... but that would not work.

I followed the EXACT SAME "password link" that I received the first time, and got in without a problem... but I can't just navigate into the forums via the links at the top without major issues.

Is this something on my end (doubt it), or a know issue?

This happened to me too at first. Really pissed me off. I was using an old bookmark to get to the forums section instead of entering thru the main page. That was my error. I since made a new bookmark to the front portal page and have not had this issue since. This was also in the updated FAQ's I believe.

Edit: typo

This is most likely your problem. Try clicking the "Forums" link up top, then logging in. I had an old link to www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php and it was causing all kinds of hell for me. :P

All of this information is 100% useless until you tell me what BROWSER YOUR USING!

Also, the exact URL you're at when this happens would be awesomesauce too.

If it's not letting you login, it's generally a wrong URL. just go to www.dual-boxing.com and try from there. Make sure you're using Firefox, IE, Latest Opera beta.

Had the issue too. Going to main page then back through forum link fixed.

Browser: Firefox 3.5.1 on windows XP

Link: http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums.php/index.php?page=Index

It goes to the top forum list just fine but can not log in and can not get list of posts.

We have a WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums.php /index.php?page=Index (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums.php/index.php?page=Index)This is a BAD URL, this URL will not work no matter WHAT browser your OS you're using. the correct URL is:

http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums.php (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums.php/index.php?page=Index)Please pick out your choice of large stuffed animals.

Now if you can tell me what you clicked on that sent you to that bad url, I'll make Gurb come mow your lawn.

We're probably coming to a point where enough people know that it's not a big deal, but is there any way to 404 the bad URLs, or redirect them to the proper place? I think the confusion (which I was caught by, too) comes from the link going to the forums rather than an error page, suggesting to the user that he's right, but the boards are wrong.

I would like to has the large orange cat please.

In Firefox if you click the little arrow on the far right of the address bar it gives a drop down list of the sites most frequently visited. It was the 3rd on that list. That's where I clicked it. It is essentially a bookmark.

My lawn is not due to be mowed until next Wednesday but could wait until next Saturday or so. I will call my guy and have him take the week off. Gurb, please PM for address and directions. I will provide water whilst mowing and a "beverage of your choice" when complete. Can't let you get dehydrated, it is hot in Texas. Please bring your own mower/edger/trimmer and rake.

Thanks!
