5 Priests

Ok so I RAF'd up 5 priests to try it out and I was sorely disappointed. Granted 4 of them had no gear, but it just amazed me how low the dps was and it seemed like survivability wasnt too high either. I'm thinking of swapping them all to disc for increased survival and just rounding up lots of mobs to holy nova down. I tried this group with the thought of running 5 priests in BGs and being shadow but out of form for heals and general annoyance (cmon the thought of 5 prayers of mending and 5 holy novas is impressive and hilarious!) I don't know if I have the willpower to level them though, lol.

I play 3 spriests now and I can say thats its a blast. mind sear is sick. wintergrasp is epic. seeing 2k ticks of mind sear on each screen, on 100 horde are priceless. Ive recently started raf to level 3 more spriests, dinged 43 tonight in just under 11 hours played and about 3 hours of that was fighting off horde while running form place to place. so in the end, yes, its worth it. atleast to me.....

I'm currently leveling a Pally/4 Priest team and it's loads of fun. My Pally is 80 and the Priests are 78/74/74/73, but I can easily handle DTK runs in ~30 mins (still farming gear) and have had no trouble with most instances. On single targets, they pump out nearly 1K dps each. With a group of 5-8 using Holy Nova, I get closer to 2K. Will they be viable at 80? Not sure, but I've been pleasantly surprised so far.

i've got 5 priests at 67 now ... ur right - shadowform is great dps, but not so great for BG's - melee AOE eats me alive in seconds ... I plan on respeccing just far enough in the disc tree to get reflective shield (it will return 225% of AOE dmg done to the group) and the rest shadow. I really want to see if this is an effective counter in arenas where the FOK rogues (and other AOE teams) seem to dominate boxers. With holy nova glyph and talents, it should be easy to get around 10k instant heals. That's my thinking anyway ... may end up going all disc and try to just survive. can't wait for mind sear x5 :D
