Questions about Aion

thinking about picking up aion just for kicks (it does look pretty), but i have a few questions

are the collector edition and preorder items good for one character only? or for the whole account?

is there going to be a wipe at the end of beta? or are they going to keep beta characters like in other ncsoft games?

seems to be 4 servers up atm, are there plans for more servers?

Not sure on the preorder items, my box that i got when i pre-ordered just says "exclusive spirit ring, stat-boosting hat, and XP talisman"

From what i hear there WILL be a wipe for closed beta, and a wipe for open beta. BUT pre-orders will get a head start on retail play (i hear 24-48hour head start)

i assume they are going to base number of servers off of pre-orders + a guess-timate on opening week sales.

Last week i tried to get the special edition of Aion, but everywhere was sold out. So i bought it though there website. I know i could have saved time just buying it from the start, but i like having the discs with me. Anyways special edition was only $10 more so it was not that bad. The only reason i got it was because of the +20% to xp (after getting it, i read in another site that it is only for 1 hour. So i don't know if it has a 2 hour cd of what or it is a 1 shot thing, but +20% towards the last couple of levels will be good to have). I don't know too much about what they are going to do but after reading some stuff it seems like they are going to do the same that they did when Guild Wars kicked off. I was in the beta for that and this is what happend.

You create you toons and play them durning beta. If you pre-ordered you got a specail in game item which depends where you got the pre-order from. Also, when pre-order you can get into the game 1 day before the game is released. The day before the pre-release they shut down the test relms and reset everyone back to level 1 (they didn't delete your toon, just made them level 1), doing this insured that you could keep your beta name. The specail item that you got where account bound (any toon on that account got the item). What happened is some people never got the item, deleted it, or got another pre-order box (you could enter more then 1 pre-order item box keys for the different items) so they made a command "/preorder" (or something like that) which put all the pre-order items in your inventory. (I am almost 100% sure this is what happend, just a long time ago)

So i think that something like this is going to happen for aion.
