OK so I have boosted my Team up to 59.9 and before I ding over to 60 I would like to know which instances are the best XP/ph for boosting?

I am using a Protection Paladin who is quite decently geared. My shaman - since they are boosted - have 0 gear and all spells trained up to 59 - so I'm essentially looking for somewhere where I can just mass pull mobs and maybe throw a few heals on my Paladin but overall not have the Shamans do very much.

Once I've gotten them a few blues to wear of the AH I will do some questing on them - but for now I'm waiting for 3.2 so I dont have to pay 500-600g per character in mount cost. :(

Any help greatly appreciated. :)

With a decently geared prot pally and 4 naked shamans you should pretty much be able to step into the Hellfire instances at 60. I wouldn't waste the money buying AH blues. At most go buy some greens (or just do a few quests and they'll all have the gear they need) and just start grinding away.

Do the first few quests and you can get some decent greens OR just grind that instance and they will drop anyways. Don't buy anything that you arent going to use at 80, it just isnt worth it.

I would as well advise doing the first few quests since the gear is pretty good and you will also get the quest for Ramparts and Blood Furnace which has some decent rewards and the XP bonus comes in handy as well.

Having a mixture of quests and instance runs also cuts down on the boredom. After 4 consecutive runs of the same instance I always feel like throwing up ;)

Underbogs is the best boosting instance from 60-68 since all mobs from start point to the first boss are melee and it will take you 10-12min per round.

Boosting there gives me 12% of a level when rested and takes 10 minutes with looting. Its a good thing to loot cause you can get a ton of sanguine hisbiscus which sell for 4g-6g each on my realm. I think I get about 15 average per run so it's pretty good for gold.

never tried boosting for those lvls... you just kill to the first boss then reset?

You should have been boosting your guys in the hellfire instances starting at 55. The xp is double that of anything in classic.

The XP might be double in Hellfire - but the amount of mobs in Scholomance is insane.

A clear of 90% of Scholomance with RAF takes me about 10-15 minutes. It grants me about 90% of a level. I was in there from 45 - 59.9% and have now summoned my guys to Underbog where I'm going to move them off their RAF accounts onto my main accounts. They are now a quarter of the way through 60 and I have a heap of those Sanguine things that apparently do sell for 4g so thats nice.

The mobs appear to only be 64 or so though - is there somewhere I can move to at 65 that is better XP than Underbog?

As I stated in my OP I'm ONLY doing this because they have no gear, money or mounts. As soon as 3.2 hits I will be buying them mounts and then questing on just the 4 Shaman. Seems stupid to waste 2400g on mounts when I can spend about 250g. :)

Oh deary me I've run into a bit of a problem. It seems you can only have a maximum of 8 World of Warcraft Accounts merge with your Battle.Net Account.

So now I have my Main Account, my 4 Boxing Account with WOTLK enabled, and one of my raf accounts on my main. My other three raf accounts are now merged in with a secondary b.net account but I'm going to have to wait 30 days to transfer anything.

So it looks like I either level another RAF team for fun or I dominate the 60-70 world of TBC and maybe grind out some Heroics gear for my Shamans to use during levelling. Or just farm gold. Either way I've hit a 30 day roadblock before I can hit up WotLK which is a bit frustrating.

So for anyone else wondering - 8 accounts is the max it would seem!

Honestly once you're honored with the HFP and CFR reps, move to the LC instances, start with Mana Tombs, get that rep to honored, then hit up either setthek halls or the starter lc one.
Should be pretty fast at that point

I also leveled my mining from 325 to 350 because there is always an Adamantite on the way to the first boss.
