to use a 80 to level or not, that is the question.

So my current team is high enough to grant enough levels to make another team worth it.

I was thinking I could 4box on my top 4 RAF accounts till 20-25ish and then start granting levels till 60, then transfer the top char to the bottom char account and then powerlevel them from 61-80 with a 80 tank or dps (ret/prot pally).

So my question is... Is it worth using an 80 from the 61-80 grind or does it nerf the xp to make the time savings not worth it?

60 to 80 is all about maximizing your rested XP. If you only have one team then you're going to mix instance leveling and questing. A level 80 will not only help you powerlevel in instance but also speed up your questing. Focus on group and instance quests since that gives more XP than regular quests. With regards to powerleveling at 60, I tried every instance that is possible and nothing comes close to Underbogs in terms of XP/hr. Just clear the mobs until the first boss. 5 instance limit per hour so your goal is to finish it in 12 minutes. The first boss drops Totem of the Thunderhead good for shaman and if you have mining, there is always an adamantine almost every reset. At 66 I tried UK, Nexus and Black Morass and it wasn't as fast as I expected so I went back in Underbogs and will try Karazhan at 68-70.

68-80 is either Outland heroics or Northrend dailiesI attempted Underbog at 64 and failed on the first boss about 3 times in a row due to his heal, now that I have earth elementals I should go back and start farming it. I'm taking today off from actually playing to get some more rested xp (and its 100+ degrees in seattle, which isn't natural)
