heres my macro

/assist greed
/cast shadow bolt
/petattack

the problem im running into is that the imp will stop attacking or have a delay in the time it casts firebolt. this is because i spam the macro in order for my slave lock to spam shadowbolt. Is there a way arround this?

/cast Shadow Bolt
/cast [pet:Imp] Firebolt

Another option...

If for example you'd like the Blueberry to engage a mob, and then start casting once its fighting and has some threat, try this.

#show
/assist Greed
/petattack
/castsequence reset=combat/target ,Curse of Agony, Corruption, Shadow Bolt, Lifetap, Shadow Bolt, Shadow Bolt, Shadow Bolt, Shadow Bolt, Life Tap, Shadow Bolt, Shadow Bolt, Shadow Bolt

The first press assists Greed and has the pet attack. The second press (which you can delay) will cast Agony etc...

Of course you can add more pets to same macro, for example:

/assist <main>
/petattack [pet:Voidwalker/Felguard]
/cast Shadow Bolt
/cast [pet:Imp] Firebolt

you can replace /cast Shadow Bolt with some /castsequence if you are worried about taking agro but don't think Lowcorn uses pet as tank.

mine is a very low tech solution :D .....I rebind the button for pett attack (originally ctrl+1) to "e". It's right next to W which I use for movement, and I don't use strafe....so it works very well for me. So when I've moved to position, I press e....then when the firebolts are away...I start spamming my attacks.

So you're saying...

/cast [pet:imp] Firebolt

Will have the pet instantly cast its firebolt...

Whereas:

/petattack

Will have a delay before it casts?

Either macro is spammed, so /petattack or /cast [pet:imp] Firebolt will be resent over and over.

On hunters, /petattack works perfectly; I'd assume it would work for a warlock too.

If you spam /petattack your Imp will never cast firebolt because it will cancel it's current firebolt and start casting new one. If you use /cast fireball then it doesn't get interrupted so you can spam it as much as you want.

/petattack works great for MELEE pets, but not for Imps that cast ranged spell.

Thank you for the quick answer.

I'm planning on mixing my loose non-80's into a mixed team.
That will help my warlock.
