Any comments on the above? Recently i just switched to my 65 warrior/57 mage/56 shaman.
what i found out was that i actually had problems keep the aggro to my warrior.. my mage could not cast blizzard on groups of mobs 'cuz once i do that, all the mobs will go thrashing my mage. compared to a team of pally/mage/shaman, i feel that warrior as the tank is much harder to play. but my friends told me that warrior is way better at single target tanking compared to aoe tanking.
still wondering if i should switch back to my 56 pally as the tank or juz stick to warrior as my main tank..

Warrior = WoW leveling hard mode.
Warrior Tank = WoW Tanking hard mode.
See a trend? :)
Multibox tanking with a warrior is totally possible - I do it with success. You just need to slow down. Charge in - thunderclap - shockwave. Make sure you hit all the mobs with all of that. tab sunder (glyph helps here). THEN start your massive dps. Make sure you spam thunderclap every cooldown - its how you AoE tank.
Prot. Pally = WoW easy mode. Seriously, its the polar opposite of a warrior on the difficultly scale.
i totally agree with u.. i had a pally and tanking is so much easier.. but dying is so much faster too.. rofl..
i think i gonna gain enough aggro before i start to spam blizzard and chain lit from my shaman and mage.. usually my setup will be warrior charge in, thunderclap, mage/shaman wil b doing frostbolt and lightning.. sunder armor while i continue with frostbolt and lightning, shield slam, first one shd b dead by then and go on to the next..
if i start blizzard before the 3rd frost bolt, all of the mobs wil start thrashing my mage.. :(
i think i need to get used to my warrior for a while.. since i just switched over..

I 10 box and in 2 5 mans at the same time. Prot pally in one and prot warrior in other. With the war I put 2 healers, and the pally just 1. Comparing tanking. The pally is just easy mode in ae encounters. But, single traget bosses he has a hard time keeping agro, especially with mobs that switch targets regardless of threat. I find both are great tanks, but with war you need to sit back at first before you burst out dps, and with the pally, you can usually just go nuts. My war can outlast the pally team in the long run.
In the end, it depends on what you think your going to be doing the most. Bosses or ae fights- but both have there fix to it....IMO lvl them both up lol.
Sorry for the spelling, wrote it on my blackberry lol

yup.. i believe so.. my friend is playing a pally and he told me the same.. pally are great for aoe taking but not single target.. i tink i would stick to my warrior since i really like warrior.. esp the raw power and their tanking ability.. :P
slowly i learnt to charge in with my warrior, leave my shaman and mage behind watching the show.. after awhile, start to dps w my mage and shaman.. that way is easier as my warrior has build up more aggro.. but still.. at times.. my mage and shaman get wiped... lol..
after playing pally aoe tanking.. warrior tanking just seem so hard.. haha...
anyway got any warrior rotation for tanking tho? mine is just charge, thunderclap, shockwave, shield slam.. sometimes i do lose aggro and my other 2 toons get wiped... =\

after playing for 2 days on my warrior/mage/shaman, i start to wonder if shaman should be my 3rd toons..
if we talk about being a dps character, i think my mage would do better with frost spec (slow is good).. on the other hand, as a healer, i tink priest would be a better choice and it has dot.. i could spam some dot and forget about my priest and prepare it to do some heals..
anyone has good advise if i should stick to my shaman as the 3rd toons? if not any other alts?
though i really liked numbers, i would choose 2x fire spec mage for huge dps, but i think survivability is very impt for me when i m multiboxing, thats why i spec prot warrior and frost mage..
