PvP weapons

It's my understanding that pvp weapons are not for sale by honor only. Are there any that are available for arena points only (no rating). I'm running 4 warlocks and I don't see my chances as being real good getting a high rating by myself. It looks like most gear can be made from honor/wintergrasp I'm just wonder what are the best sources of weapons for someone who only does pvp?

If I have to, I'll play singles on arena teams to get my rating up, but that will require getting well geared first.

If you want Arena weapons, you have two choices.
Get a high rating, and buy one with arena points.
Or use an honor purchased (level 70) arena weapon.

I'd consider a PvE weapon instead.
Sure, upgrade to arena weaponry when you qualify, but you can get quite decent weapons on the AH from a weaponsmith.
You can also do PuG/Guild runs into Naxx etc.
There are decent weapons with badges too, but they're not as good as crafted or PvE drops.

I have 4 locks with a priest and love it. /Cheers to you. I got the Staff of the Purposeful Mendicant (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38240) from Last Rites (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12019) and loved it and haven't looked back. A supposed upgrade (by levels) is the Chilly Slobberknocker (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41821 ) from The Champion of Anguish (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12948 ). But I didn't really like it as much, just me though.

Others hit (to me, doesn't matter in PVP), haste (to me, doesn't matter with DOTs), SP (is higher, I will have to give it that one). It just seems like it isn't much of an upgrade for me. My priest wants spi for regen and has spi->SP talent, my locks have fel armor which is spi->SP. I hope I will find a easy quest staff at 80. I just don't think I will rush to 80 and worry about it. There are plenty of people that rush to 80, I want to enjoy the trip.
