Okay, I've decided to try multiboxing whenever my rig comes through the door and I'd like to know if it will run 2 accounts at the same time well, and any tips for a newbie.

AMD Phenom 9950BE 2.6Ghz - OClocking as close to 3GhZ as I can without messing around with voltage too much.

4Ghz DDR2 RAM - 800MhZ

Nvidia Gefore 9800GTX+ - 512MB DDR3

Will be running Vista 64bit, Windows 7 64bit whenever I can get a hold of it.

Thermaltake Soprano case, probably going to add better fans/heatsinks to rig if it gets a bit hot.

750W PSU

Asrock K10N78FullHD-hSLI R3.0 Mobo

Should this run 2 okay, or will I have any problems ?

Cheers

That's totally overkill for just two boxing, so you'll be fine. Especially if you really meant "4MB RAM @ 800Mhz" rather than "4Ghz RAM" :)

Make sure you set your affinity profiles correctly and you will be able to run both accounts at high res/settings.

Cheers for the replies, and yeah, I meant 4GB @ 800Mhz =P
it was late at night, I'm allowed to make mistakes ;-)

How many accounts do you guys think I can run on my laptop?

P8400 (2.26GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 Cache)
4Gb 1066MHz DDR3
9800M GTS Graphics with 1GB GDDR3

I'd guess you can get 4 running on that with min settings and capped FPS

I run 4 on a p820 D dual core 1.8gz, 4gig ram, windows XP, geforce 8500GT 512mb - its not flashy with those settings but I've been able to raid/pvp on that since Burning Crusade. To be fair though I also run my "main" on a separate (similarly specced) system so I can have the effects/viewdistance I need.
