4x Mage spec

Well I searched the fourms, took alot in. But im at lvl 34 now and still cant decide what spec I should go for. All have bonuses, all have drawbacks.

Currently my play style is single target mobs that are spaced out then I gather the ones closer together and Arcane explosion them down. when I had first started my mages I had in mind going frost just untill Frost Barrier, then goin rest arcane for the Acane explosion. I geuss what I am aiming for is AE domination. im still to nub to figure out how to use blizzard in a multibox situation or I would just go frost, somting else to research I geuss.

For your AoE issue, I would search for camera angle SetView and AOE in whatever forums your multiplexer software uses, for hotkeynet there is a exactly blizzard / druid thread on this. These forums have a few too, again likely all have the term AoE and SetView in them. Blizzard alone doesn't work so well because of the game company name.

To make use of the mage proc based talent/effects like Hot Streak you likely need a [do castsequence {except for person with proc}] set of keys for each mage. Similar to how people do offset healing. For three DPS classes you might have F9 be 'all grind', F10 be DPS1 heals and DPS2 & DPS3 grind. F11 DPS2 heals and DPS1 & DPS3 grind for F12 DPS3 heals and DPS1 & DPS2 grind. With a Hot Streak setup instead of healing you would pyroblast.

I ran a priest and 4 mage group for quite a while. I was completely satisfied going heavy arcane with some fire to get pyroblast.

Quad instant cast arcane barrage was just too sexy to even bother with any other spec. Presence of Mind pyro or arcane blast every 2 min was even better. And you have plenty of AOE with arcane explosion and frost nova you dont need to worry about blizzard. Free water, mana gems, and evocation means your not waiting for mana to regen.

I tried Frost, Arcane and Fire and at level 60 found I liked frost the best.
