First of all, reading all of this info was very overwhelming. So much data!! I've been playing WoW for almost two years now, and I've always been envious of multiboxers. Never tried it because I thought it'd be difficult. I recently got bored at 80, so I decided to recruit a friend from work over to my server, he plays on another server. So he told me he'd pay for everything if I leveled his toon with mine, and it began. My toon is a druid, his is a priest. A lot of fun so far, almost 10. Using keyclone, and some basic macros. I suppose what makes it easier is that the priest and druid are very similar, (moonfire=shadow word pain)(wrath=smite) etc. Just one problem, I'd like to put hots on each other, like place a renew on the druid, and place a rejuv on the priest. I've searched high and low, and I cannot find a macro to do this. And any other suggestions would be great too!

Thanks-

Hey, been lurking around this forum for ages, got a team of four level 80 shammies myself, and I thought I'd give you a hand.
First of all, what you are doing is leveling your friends char for him, which is classified as accountsharing. And as we all know, accountsharing is bannable.I'd advise you to just ask your friend when he's got some spare time so you can level together. If you somehow go through with this (don't!), you'd have to make a macro on each one of them:
Priest macro:

/cast [target=DRUIDNAME] Renew Druid macro:
/cast [target=PRIESTNAME] Rejuvenation But I'd strongly advise not to play on a account that not has your own name under it.
You could just try and get your own second account(maybe a trial one just for fun!)

Thanks for the macros! the new account is under my name, and I'll be doing most of the playing on it. I will take that into advisement though! I'm also finding it tedious to switch windows for looting, i don't know how most of you made it to 80 with 5, much less 2!

We avoid gathering quests and loot on our mains.. much easier to give gold to the other characters.

Even with it all in your name, the payments are coming from him? Are they cards? You are likely looking at getting banned once you give him his character instead of while you play as you will be seen as what alot of people accuse us, selling accounts we level.

I'm also finding it tedious to switch windows for looting, i don't know how most of you made it to 80 with 5, much less 2!first the looting.
there is a keybinding in wow for "interact with target". bind that to something. lets say numpad+
then go into interface options and enable "click to move".

what you do ingame later is to kill a mob, loot it with the "main" you have open.
then hit your assist button (im just assuming you are using a "/assist NAME" macro).
then hit numpad+ (or whatever key you might of bound to "interact with target").
the follower/followerS will now attempt to loot the target they have.
afterwards hit your follow macro and keep killing.

but i suggest you skip as many "loot 10 rat tails and then 15 ears" quests.
with 1 and 2 chars i guess it is okey.
but when you start multiboxing with a total of 3 or more chars it becomes extremely tedious and not worth the time in most cases.
still do things like "kill that big dude and bring me his head" quests. those are easy and just means looting once on each char.

on the subject of making it to 80..
iv done 3 accounts full for friends and family (yada yada its not allowed to level for others/account share. but family is family..)

what i do is use a lvl 80 and boost in instances from level 8 to lvl 60. and then do the quests that dont demand much looting.
