I tried to get on just a 72 warlock to level up some mining and got asked to a Sunwell PUG.... hey why not, I figure with a few 80's in the group it should be easy.
I have no idea how 25 level 70's ever did the sunwell. the team was a mix of everything from 70-80 and we couldn't take the first boss.
It did this AoE lightning bolt that was impossible to avoid and my squishy cloth wearer would vaporise under it.
I might get 3 instant cast DoTs up before I died.
Oh well, never I did like to PUG.

Next I tried to make some ebonweave with the tailor warlock and figured why bring a whole team... just need one guy there.
died twice getting to the Maw of Natharion. The biggest problem is thinking I can take on a mob of 10+ no problems.... not solo... just two kicked my ass since they are all immune to fear and I was ambushed before I could get a void up on the second pass.

Good old sunwell. I loved that place.
If it was a big dragon dude then that's avoidable by not standing close to people when he ports someone to the demon realm thingy.
If it was a big robot dude then it was just trash thats designed to scare away pugs from farming the many epics that the trash drops. Don't lifetap when fighting it, go all out with damage(my sw pugs use heroism/bloodlust on it right away), and pray you have enough resto druid/holy priests to keep you upright.
Sunwell gets a bad rap for alot of things, but all fights but felmyst require less movement than uldar(which is supposed to be easier by design, when not considering hardmodes). Stack dps and raid healers and Sunwell isn't so rough even in its un-nerfed form.

Any 2x5boxer groups taken on this place? Might be a fun place to collect old achivements and gear sets since its so brute force burn down friendly.

lol, well, yeah, you're not supposed to solo anything 10 levels higher than you xD

I played solo for almost 2 years, so it's nothing strange to me. I've leveled one of each class solo to at least 20, most to 40 or higher. Multiboxing can definitely spoil you to certain things, though lol.

soon as I get some decent gear I would be interested in trying. Although I really don't think 9 people, even at 80, can do sunwell. =)
