Do you guys do the dailys or farm relics? I find the dailys terribly slow boxing :(If you farm, where?

Slow boxing? I do all the quests except the one where you need to farm the elementals for the drops....that drop rate is horrible. 3 other quests are boxing friendly(horn, dog tooth, feeding the spirits) and 2 other(spear the dragon, gather oil in cave) is really fast to do being nonboxable. I would say, hit this place up more for the gold rather than just trying to get rep.

What KvdM said .. Just buy them off the auction, it's around 2000g/each character on my server. I agree that the dailies are kinda slow, and I personally hate them. 2000g is not alot per character, if you consider the speed you can earn gold as a multiboxer. Of course it's less than 2000g, if you already got a fair amount of reputation :)

Far the guys you need to kill for "Blowing Hodir's Horn". They always seem to have a good drop rate for the relics, and you can do the quest while you're there. You may piss off people trying to do the quests, but the respawn is crazy so I wouldn't worry about it.

Frankly, Hodir is a perv and I'm just to young, innocent and uncorrupted to do all of his sexually suggestive quests.

Do all those but also get Gathermate. Gathermate is an addon that loads node data for minerals/herbs/ect from wowhead. It also can load Everfrost chip data. Load that up and farm the hell out of everfrost chips. Works best with an epic flyer too.

that's the way I decided to go - one round of Hodir dailies convinced me that I'd rather just buy relics to exalted.

Those quests all sucked hind end when I tried them the first time, so yea, I just snagged my faction from the AH for about 5K when they were new.

If you can do Halls of Lightning on Normal or Heroic, farming the Relics of Ulduar is SO MUCH BETTER than doing the dailys! If I kill most of the mobs in the zone, I can pull 60 to 70 Relics in 1 clearing!

I like running heroic HoL, one of my favorite instances, so I've got three toons to Exalted without trying too hard.

I just did the dailies as part of my daily grind for gold. Not really that bad. I did all the dailies with the exception of Thrusting the Spear and Hot and Cold. I stopped doing Polishing the Helm after a while though.

Don't forget to look around for Everfrost Chips too.

Sure these dailies aren't the quickest/easiest, but once you complete your favorite 15-20 dailies and you still have 5 or so more you can complete, these aren't really any worse than the other options IMO especially when you you need the rep.

If you're impatient just buy or farm the relics.

4.get one toon exalted a day.I never thought of this. The good news is that if you've finished the chain that gets you to friendly, which you REALLY ought to do, this method works well since there is an approximate 1-to-1 gold-for-relics rate at the auction house.

Yup if you hit HoS or HoL you should be able to get quite a bit of the relics with no issues, I use to do these when I was doing the rep grind, though I have not yet finished it just not much time to much now adays so have to still work on that, and I am going to see about at least getting the darn tank to Exalted with the place should be easy I think I am sitting at an easy 7k G at the moment just no time to mess with it much now adays.

I do 3 hodir daiy at best.
the one from the DOG is great, have all 5 on your team cast the dog thing at once and just wait for it to finish. with 5x of the dogs running around you will have three iron dwarfs to kill somewhere in the group.
the second one I do is blowing the horn, super easy.

the last one I do half assed. the fire & ice.
I only do it when the JC daily is for the bright armor relic and I only kill enough to complete the JC daily on my 4 JC and I can usually get one toon to finish fire/ice.

I personally love HoL for the relics though, if you can do Ionar then it's more than worth it to just run this for the drops.

I havent bothered much with the Hodir dailies, I do them once in a while on my 80's - I'd like the shoulder enchant, eventually, but since I'm not going to raid, it's not that crucial - the game won't end if you don't.

I won't buy the relics, because most of them are botted. I see the bots, all the times, the places where they drop are packed with them on my server, and I won't support botters - which is why I won't buy Saronite or Titanium ore. It's cheap, there's tons of it, but it's all for sale from characters with names like "wxysgds", and i won't do it.

If you have to have the enchants, then grind it out, but please look into who you're buying the relics from. Don't support the botters! They're trashing my server, I rarely see ore nodes anymore, in any zone I go into. I was cruising around Sholazar the other day, and you can sit on a node site (if you have Gatherer), and watch the bots run by, like clockwork. Same with Wintergrasp. I've given up leveling my miners, until they get rid of them. I took one of my DKs into sith to try and find thorium, and there were 6 bot accounts running. (one running into a hill, lolbotfail).

I've never seen it this bad - Blizz is way, way, way overdue for a ban wave.
