My team is a prot pally and four elemental shammies.
In pvp's, I cannot force the horde to attack the paladin, while the shammies dps.

I've respec'd the paladin to a prot/holy build, which I saw on arenajunkies.

I recently saw a thread (within a week or so), but cannot seem to locate it.
They were talking about unit frames type addons which can always display your team.

I'd like the paladin to always be able to see the shammies in raid, regardless of being in the same group or not.
Ideally with a unit frames addon, I could make their frames a bit larger and easier to see.
The default Blizz bars are really tiny in a raid.

Also, any suggestions on a click to heal addon?
I've seen video's where the priest has Renew or Flash Heal icons on each person in their group.
Clicking an icon casts that spell on the toon whose bar was clicked.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Open the raid window and "pull" out your toons. Whenever you enter a raid, those toons will always "pop out" to where ever you place them.Unless I'm mistaken those wont sort the same for everyone. Get a mod like Grid, Healbot, OpenRDX, etc.

i haven't checked out open RDX, but healbot is amazing for healing in a 5box setup, just use your mouse to do it all.... it saved me having to heal with two hands, meaning my dps didn't suffer

Healbot or Grid with Clique.

Ok, playing around with Healbot...

It allows you to set which spells are cast, by how you click on the unit bar.
So far I have Flash of Light (left click), Holy Light (right click) and Cleanse (alt, left-click).

Under the Healing tab it has something called Target Bar.
When grouped with my shammies, I can Control + Alt + Right Click to add any of them to "My Targets" which moves them to a "My-Targets" list.
Is this the feature which will allows me to see them, irregardless of which group they're in?
Or is that another feature?

Under the Skin1 tab, there are predefined skins for various group types.
I'm happy with how my group works in instances and questing, so I'm pretty much only interested in the "Alterac" skin. I'm fine with hiding the addon at other times.
With this pvp skin, it only shows toons who are in range and in need of heals.
Is there a way to force it to show toons, so I can ensure they're position is where I want them to be?
If I can, I'd like my Pally and Shammies to be in a fixed position, and then other players who may need heals or such to appear if they're within range and below maximum health.
I use my pally for targeting, and the shammies are on a target=targettarget system, so I could easily configure a click to target that frame, at which point my team could heal if I choose to go that route.

Well... an AV with healbot was rather disappointing.

My entire screen is filled with horizontal bars, about an inch across and maybe a quarter of an inch tall. They display groups 4, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8. My targets is not visible at all. There are no names on any of the boxes, unless I mouse over. I can find my own name, as they are color coded, but could not find any of my shamans.

All I really want, is to have frames at least as large as the party interface, which show my team members no matter what group the battleground randomly puts them into. I can do the click to cast via the clique addon if need be. Today has been rather frustrating, I've tried Open RDX, Pitbull, AG_UnitFrames, Grid, Healbot and have not found one yet, which will allow me to see my party even when the battleground splits my team up.

I mean I'd rather run around and try to kill the other team, and heal my own team. I don't really want to just sit on my ass and leach honor, but that's looking to be the best option, which really sucks. I'd rather fight then give boxing a bad name, but there's no point in even trying, when I cannot see my party members. In the end, however the addon search goes, I'll be there until I can get a full set of pvp gear on the toons. Still would rather fight then not.

You can change Healbot to look pretty much however you want, including adding names. The bar sizes, etc, are all configured under the two "skin" tabs in the Healbot configuration menu.

It takes some time to get it "right", but it's a good investment of that time.

In a raid, you can also re-order the bars by hitting CTRL-ALT-RCLICK on the targets you're interested in. That'll move them to the top of the first column in healbot.

You can also CTRL-ALT-LCLICK ( think!) on other people's bars if you really don't want to see them.

Thinking about it, you could probably hack Healbot to only add your characters to the frames in the first place....
