I want to box WoW but as money is tight right now i cant afford to as i would need to upgrade pc parts, etc etc, so are there any free MMOs that are worth playing that are boxng friendly, preferably that dont hog all my cpu usage. cheers

I dont think so... adleast im pretty sure all F2P CS games forbid software method. I made a post once on FlyFF Forums and it allows you to play multi accounts but on seperate PCs, so they kind allow hardware boxing. Bassicly you shouldnt have your hopes up. You benefit in F2P MMO's by boxing but owners of those MMO's dont since you tend to work your way through party and not through CS.

Runes of Magic if free to play and multibox friendly. It does use up more resources than WoW, so if you're used to 5 boxing, you may only be able to 3 box RoM. There's a whole section for it here on the forums.

It's a pretty cool game. VERY similar to WoW, where play-style is concerned, though I've only played to level 7 so far. Some of the other guys here have more experience than I do with it.

RoM does not allow software boxing, they're all uppity about third party = automated scripting. link ('http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=11577')

"2) Is it illegal to use a program to send keystokes to all open windows by hitting one key, and *NOT* having it automated?"

Number 2 is a big no no because it uses a third party program.

Multi Clienting is allowed just not a scripted multi client.

So, you can hardware box and you can run multiple clients on one box, but you can't use anything like Keyclone to tie the accounts together.
